How to Propagate a Haworthia in 3 ways 1. Offsets / Pups Separation from the Mother Plant 2. Beheading Propagation 3. Leaf Propagation Enjoy the video while learning how to propagate a Haworthia
Thank you for posting such clear instructions! I appreciate your attention to every detail and the view from zooming in on your camera. Your instructions are some of the best I have seen.
I was holding my breath as you're starting to pull the floss tightly then gave a sigh of relief when it's done. Thank you for this video on propagating hawo. Now i know how to do it with my own.
Thank you for the tips and examples. Very helpful! The top of my haworthia accidently broke off when I was repotting today and I was looking for info on saving it. Hopefully I can save the top + get some new propagation going.
Your patience, dedication and paying attention to detail are exceptional. The video clearly shows your love and care for your these haworthias. Thanks. I am subscribing your channel.
OMG! I didn’t knew you could propagate Haworthias like that!! I’ll be waiting anxiously for more videos like this and for the progress of those magnificent Haworthias! Regards from Mexico 🇲🇽
Hi, thank you for sharing this. It's could be better if you make video shorter , like 1. 2. 3. Skip the gap. And focus on point. Or just show dont tell.
I found a variegated Haworthia but the variegation is only on two leaves, should I try to propagate them or leave them and wait to see if pups come out variegated? It’s a Haworthia Cuapada by the way.
Very amazing ways to propagate for more haworthias. But I think I do not have the gut to 'strangulate' the plant lol. Thank you very much for showing us how to propagate. Do I use small size akadama for potting up ?
This is great to show how to prep for propagation, but it lacks information on what you do after cutting for propagation. How much light? Water? Type of soil? This would all be great information to add to this video so a viewer that is clueless (like me) can see it through the whole process.
I found these little white buds that I thought were spidermites and pulled two off before I realized that were the beginning of pups growing 😭😭 there are two left but damn!! Nobody ever told me about that! They looked exactly like huge spidermite webs and were in perfect alignment at the base of the leaves...i hope I didn't hurt it too badly...
Hi! I realize this is an older video, but I was wondering what medium you use? Is it just akedama or do you add some sort of nutrient-rich component? I'm currently growing some seedlings in vermiculite, no fertilizer, but I think they'd be better off in something else😔i just don't want to spend the money on bonsai soil
Thank you for a great video, excellent explanation. I do have a question for you I was given a type of Succulent I’ve never seen before. I’ve tried 3 different plant apps that you take a photo to find out what it is, but I was unsuccessful. I was hoping you could help me out?
Hi, this a very useful video, I wanted to know about the "head" with no root propagation, you waited for a week for the wound to heal and then what? Just plant the head with no roots? Did you wait for the head to root without any soil or water?
just plant the head with no roots.. put it in a cool and shaded area.. then just water lightly once a week or whenever the soil is dry. it should root well after a month..
Eu estou começando a colecionar as hawortias , e não tenho essas , gente cada vez que vejo um vídeo fico mais doida kkkk quero todas , sou do Brasil e a cidade onde moro , não cultivam muito a espécie !!!
Thanks for the great details in your video! Question though, for the leaf cutoffs, do you just leave them exposed in the air? Do I need to spray them with water and how frequently pls?
I havre a new haworthia retusa with lots of pups. I'm going to try removing them and experiment with using cinnamon powder to callus and protect the wound, a new thing done with orchid care.
Can the leaf be propagated? My mother plant died but I rescued some leaves so I wanted to know if they could be propagated? I tried but it still won’t root
