tough ass console stayed on with a pickaxe through the center but thats probably because there arent that many things in the direct center that would shut the console off if damaged
Im suprised my special edition og xbox from i think 06 still worked after surviving a flood, mind you the capcaitors are dead and atleast 96% of the games dont work but the console works none the less
@@JohnnyRocker2050 its cause the disks are scratched so bad that in some games it will freeze and when it dose eventualy work the sound will cut out alot or wont play, my spiderman 1 wont play any music at all on my og but still works fine strangly there is sound when i play it on my 360
Xbox og also gets it that is why I did this it had the red ring of death it was flashing 4 red LEDs and didn't show any image on the TV at all it also overheated and shut off
The red ring is on the OG Xbox, but it's rarer (unless you don't remove the capacitor) My Xbox is modified though so I forcefully enabled the red LED regardless of the console's state.
All OG Xboxs are at risk. A single capacitor responsible for storing the time is the culprit. The solution: remove or replace the capacitor. The capacitor rots overtime and then bursts.
Yes a couple of years ago if you asked me if going back to PS2 Xbox GameCube just less than five years ago or seven years ago or something I would’ve said I would choose Xbox but no more recently what keeps happening as the original Xbox they have a capacitor inside them, that is Responsible for keeping track of the time and date while it switched off that capacitor is beginning to decay and breakdown and leak acid killing the Xbox causing this problem it’s fixable, but the problem is it cost money to fix and stores that deal with secondhand consoles and gaming they will not take this Xbox once it’s got the red ring. They will not accept it even if they know that they can sell a discount to someone who can fix it. They just will not take it because Reasons even though they can easily pay to get it fixed they just don’t want it your solution break it like this. Get yourself a new Xbox and then sell the broken one for parts with a very clear hole through the top of it. Yeah that’s gonna make someone realise it’s for parts or at least open up and fix it
I already tried selling it multiple times nobody wanted to but it I even tried giving it away for free and I Don't micro soder rather I pulled this Xbox from the trash and someone already did that repair and then they took it apart then I put it back together and made this video and it didn't even have a hard drive or a disk drive in it no controller no cords
No it's not this I found in the trash and it was red ring I tried to fix it and it was corroded and too far gone no fixing it and so I decided to pull the hard drive and smash it for a joke you can get there at the thrift store now for like $20 bro this was broken junk
