Nice explanation, helped alot, sold all traditional fly gear and started fishing tenkara, love it. Thanks again 1 ques cannot find answer have knot on end of tapered pvc? What knot to attach tippett to it?
Glad you found it helpful. Tenkara is great and can do much more than many anglers think. Welcome to the tenkara community! About your question, not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you using a PVC line? If yes, is it a tenkara specific line (meaning does it have pretended loops at both ends?). If no, is it a homemade line with no loop at tippet end? In general if there is a small loop, I suggest a loop to loop connection with your tippet. This wogreat if you are using a pre-made tapered leader, like from RIO or some other manufacturer. If no then you can tie a simple overhead loop on the end of your tippet to go a simple connection. Or, you can use a clinch knot to attach straight tippet. If this doesn't answer your question, then reach out via email and we'll get you figured out. zenflyfishinggear@gmail.com
Thanks, I appreciate your videos a lot. I have learned something new again from you. I never thought to open the butt cap for easier and more thorough cleaning. P.S. my inner kid is still all smiles with my Zen Tenkara rod.
@@ZenTenkara Thursday I was out and saw some young fishermen trying to assemble a 4 piece graphite traditional style fly rod. They snapped the tip off in in a tree.
