RU-vid comes through again. Since we no longer have Chilton manuals, RU-vid has taken it's place for DIY mechanics. Searching for videos for my 2011 Enclave, I came aross this video that showed me where the ECM was and how to remove it. The cherry on top was that these guys are local to me. Called them and had replacement unit in the vehicle the next day. These guys are awesome. Tell Edward, Paul sent you.

Technically you can, however it is important that the ignition will be off.

Hello. 2011 buick enclave. Do you have to get a dealer to reprogram it ? I had a code for the pcm and they said this was it.

Dealer is one of the options that you can consider however they charge an arm and a leg. I would recommend finding local guys who can program this computer or you can get in touch with us and we can supply you with one. sales@ecuteam.com
