my first 2.4k hours was solo always on topia us main always have fun just gota play smart always expect there to be 2-3 plus people during a fight.

hey solo here ive got 1100 hours and over 800 is solo. its not impossible i started on 100 pop servers and now i cant wait to play force wipe on 300-500 pop. it can be so much harder to play, so just play differently. i used what i called vacuuming were once i get my 1x2 down/ base, i random spawn and just try to collect things on the way back. you die here and there but 5-7 tries and youll have a T1 and enough for crossy and basic kit

I find a duo/ solo server and just try to play stealthy and do shit that normally you shouldn’t/ wouldn’t do, kinda stay in that unknown/ unpredictable slot, I only recycle late at night/ early morning when server pop is low/ lower than main hours. I build bases not just one but two or three bases, somewhat close by to one another, in spots where monuments are 4-5 squares away, if one base gets raided you have another base to load into, I also suggest playing modded vanilla, a server that isn’t 2x,3x, or 5x. Lower you chances of being raided from people grinding day in and day out, stocking up on a ton of boom. Always shot somebody, never get caught slacking, make sure to check your surroundings, if you see someone, most likely his teammate is right behind him or right behind you. Shoot somebody, and reposition, never get caught in the open, take the long routes. Loot later not sooner, you kill somebody, move, wait and be on look out, don’t run to loot the body instantly. And when raiding, get to tc as fast as possible, and place your own, replace walls and set a bag, check boxes after you take over the base. Especially for counter raiders who love to show up just as you blow open walls or doors to a loot room.

Hahaha, i have a video of the 2x2 i built for a wipe. Absolutely blew the minds of this 5 man group i built next to. Great lads. Made a treaty with them. Unwanted guns for the surplus of cloth and low geade i had accumulated from my farming and scouting. Everything i needed for a successful wipe was indoors. Oil refinery, fishtrap, garden, furnaces, computer station, research table, room for T1-T3, and a boat. This was on vanilla console before horses were introduced and the changes to gardening were implemented. Still achievable, tho. The key is to survive by limiting the reasons you have to leave safety. Risk management, risk management, risk management. The 5 man was unprofessional. Got into unnecessary fights and therefore burned through their cloth and low grade for meds ridiculously fast. Do not roof camp, PLZ Also, Their base was too big, making them have to farm way too often, which lead to more fights and lost gear. Infighting occured a lot, too Main reason I like being solo. Focus on collecting items that CANNOT be researched and crafted. Tech tree or Research everything that can, collect at least a single stack of said non craft items and then focus on recycling the surplus for building materials and scrap. Trust me, this makes managing and moving loot so much easier, especially in the event of a raid. Speaking of raids, i only load my T.C. with 24 hours worth of upkeep, this way if t.c. Is destroyed then whats inside of it is immediately going into the base and therefore no loot is dropping for the raiders And my base will still have 24hrs Solo life is challenging but very rewarding

Yeah, late start solo you just wake up at 11pm - 12am and start. If you come at 3ish am you can catch bases crumbling or zergs despawning loot from small groups. It's not that hard. It's harder to play freshwipe zero hour. That's actually the guide. lol. 2:11 also don't ever sit in front of a recycler as a noob outside of outpost or camp. If you sit there playing with the recycler you do not have the speed or aim to turn around and shoot back when you get killed playing with your loot at recycler. Better to just let it cook and keep your eyes open. Even if it takes longer because if your back is to threat you have viewer options.

I never thought of placing a shelter near electric stations. Is there any way to figure out where these stations are by checking the map?

Pink barrels for rope?

Biggest mistake is having fights close to your base area. If you piss to many players, they will raid you -- but mostly offline. If you wana pvp, i recomend you do basic 2 square 1 triangle base and use it for pvp near other players. Be sure you move the loot to your main base and that no1 follows you once you are done in the area. When you play on server that has zergs, your badly hidden solo base wont last very long. I recomend you build a main base in area no1 will want to build (because it sucks). This reduces trafic in area and also all the stone nodes and wood are there just for the taking. For scrap farming, just make a crappy base near a road and farm, then move the loot to main base at night. Wood area is best for that, cold area is to open and lots of players farm suflur nodes there, while desert area is bad if you wana make some small hemp minifarm for bandages. Also in area you pvp in ---- place shiton of bags all araund. You can use this to respawn and trick players that some other player base if yours by fighting with a bow and dying inside it. Most of players just places bags outside their main base and that is pretty much it. My favorite way to farm Ak players is to build a trap base that sucks the bodys inside (uses roof pieces at certain angle). You piss of some player, bait them to your trap base, stand on top of roof piece, they kill you. Once they try to loot you, they gona get killed by a trap base and their body will get sucked in (so it doesnt matter how much timer you have). Then you respawn, take the Ak kit and run to research it. That trap base you made is gona be 100% rocketed in next 5 min. Pvpers REALY REALY hate trap bases.
