Thanks for sharing ! I sowed 8 bottle gourd seeds I bought from you and all of them germinated in 5 days. I'll try and use your pruning method, when they mature after which maybe I'll be able to keep them going all year long here in Hawaii Zone 12b.

Pro tips,, Thanks, would you know and share something about breeding variety and genetics of this gourds? Like how to crossbreed and get different shapes! I would like also to know if u need to clone the plant to get same shape everetime or if take seeds of these fruit it will generate same shape also! My question is my apple gourd is fruiting, but has a pebble looking feature to a couple of them, looks like bumps? What is that? I can send a picture if needed. I'm growing a couple different species in my backyard in San Antonio, Tx, speckled, apple, bottle, canteen, and cannon ball gourds, all seeds germinated very nicely and vines look very healthy. What can I do to ensure they are properly growing healthy and fruiting the way they should in their shapes?
