This is the first video we’re I hear about your foot having a natural swing across! Will this mess up your punt if you not careful? All of my punts aren’t turning over and are lower than they should be even though I’m leaning my shoulders forward can this be the cause?

Great question, I'm not against a slight swing across assuming the ball is turned to compensate a little bit. A straighter swing is ideal since you know you're getting everything through it. The height on your punts could be you swinging more forward than up on the ball and your drop might be lower than typical. Just some things to pay attention to!

I can kick it high, just not long. A solid 15 yards high, only like 15-20 yards long

The cause of that is your foot is contacting the ball when it is too high in the air. Don't try to kick it a hundred percent just tried to make clean contact and get the spiral going and then work on power as you get better.

@@voidracerextremeguru745 im getting better now, i can kick it a good 25, 30 in the air and average 25, 30 long. Still got a ways to go though. Im working on my field goals too. Im not kicking in with my toes now, after i broke a toenail completely off my foot, i decided i needed to fix the way im doing it

I bought a football, just to kick the shiet out of it. I hope I can learn to spiral punt. I just enjoy blasting the ball super high.

it works the 11 O’clock point is very widely used and is very effective to combat swing

Hey man, I always punt it super high and it hangs for a good 3-5 seconds each time but I can never seem to get the distance on it, it never goes beyond 40-45 yards. How can I fix this?

Let the ball drop for a little longer, and/or have the ball hit your foot closer to the ground, it will make your punt go a decent chunk farther with the sacrifice of a slight bit of hang time
