First rule; never tighten all bolts until you have them all started, that way you can move the application to line up all bolts and holes then proceed to tighten !! Secondly where bolts or nuts are subject to vibration a small drop of semi-permanent thread lock cures this problem. 🤔😜

I'm way behind on watching your great videos,I was watching your video on firewood pricing and noticed you left out a big cost. Granted it's not firewood cost specific but how about cameras,microphones and your time filming and editing? Plus needing computer and monthly phone bill. Just things that up your cost and lower the already thin profit.
@InTheWoodyard
@InTheWoodyard 2 года назад
That has nothing to do with the firewood business, this is a different business, with its own income and is separate. I know it sounds strange but the youtube is not part of the firewood business but the firewood is the show for the channel.

Good job, you got it installed, that's all that matters! Looking at the top two bolts, perhaps ( 2 ) of the long Allen's would have made it a little easier for maintaining the alignment into the female threads, but you got it on, that's what matters here... I've been using a 55 Rancher ( tinker toy ) for close to ( 20) years now as I had a 2nd hand ( used ) lower end installed about ( 8 ) years ago now... I am in the market for new saw & will be purchasing the 372 Husky. I had the opportunity about two years ago to buy the last of the non- computer version, I hesitated & the dealer sold them out quickly... To makes matters worse, he took a 100 bucks off those saws too boot, snooze , you lose as the old saying goes... Excellent presentation, Thanks, Bill... :~)

When the round tube (guide) breaks again get a new muffler. Don't wait for it to break apart again. Exhaust leaks change the fuel ratio and you can burn a piston up. Than you'll have two parts saws. You can find them used on ebay or aftermarket and not pay as much.
