Hmm won't this drain battery when not used? In order to skip that use a relay switch or connect to one of the wires powered up by the ignition. Only downside is that you won't be able to charge your phone while the ignition is turned off but I would rather have that than being stranded or getting an earlier undercharged/damaged battery.
Yup it will not drain because the charger not in used when parking an safe unxer the seat. But if you use moped like south east asia yeah, maybe use like voltage sensitive relay to prevent battery drain because the charger put on open area and other people can access or use it.
how does it go from USB to USB? is there something I am missing? Doesn't this also drain your battery while not in use? Wont this fry your phone over time?
Great way to fry a phone. Don’t do this… I did the same thing and it does not comply with being able to charge your phone. I fried 2x cables doing this before I realized it wasn’t the cables and the charger itself.
