Today we are drawing a few lines to create our own V neckbands in two different finished widths and with two different seam allowances. The sky is the limit. I am sharing how to modify your existing round necklines into a V neckline, how to measure it and adapt your neckband piece to fit beautifully.

This is so clear and easy to understand Karina, you really are the best sewing teacher on RU-vid. You have inspired me to get back into sewing the past few months and now I've made 5 tops, 2 pairs yoga pants and a nightie. Hi Karina, so excited to get your download of the V-neckline options. I will use these forever! I have a couple of RTW garments that have high round necklines. I am going to take out the facings and then figure out the V-neck placement line and redo it with a band. Do you have a way for us to show our makes using your pattern pieces?

It's the same length, you'd just overlap the ends.
