For those who are still having trouble: I found that when putting just a tiny dab of coconut oil on the end of the screw, I was able to get the rainbow part in. And once the rainbow is in, it all really falls into place. Without that lubrication, there was too much friction so I had a hard time getting it to slide in (...that's what she said) . So I suggest trying this!

Y’all this is what finally worked for me after an hour of panicking and drawing blood 🩸 😂. If you can’t get it back in, take some CLEAN pliers and bend the screw part of your stud a little more straight. After I did this it popped right through! 🔥 The curve of the stud might be just a little too small for your hole. Saved me an embarrassing trip to my piercer lmao. Good luck!

I realize this is 8 years ago but a company called cordsclub makes an applicator to make placing flat back studs easier. I find putting that in my piercing and then pushing out out using the rainbow end of the stud makes placement easier.

It was my first time putting in a piercing after my original nose piercing. Very helpful video!!

I was struggling all day yesterday! I watched over 20 videos on how to put in a nose screw and this video was the only one that actually helped me! Anyone struggling just really listen to the audio when placing your nose screw. What helped me was looking at the actually nose screw and getting use to the twisting motion. Also only twist one way do not twist back and forth! Twist towards your nose!

the first bit doesn't go all the way through for me, I've tried so many times. Really want this to work cause I'm sick of other types falling out. Thanks for this!! Very helpful. My piercing kept popping back out when I tried to flip it, so I put one finger on the end the of the piercing inside my nose, and one finger on the end outside of my nose. Then, I gently pushed from the outside and it popped back in. This may help some of you who are struggling. Just be gentle so that you don't tear the skin.

The best video by far on how to do this. I've actually had my nose pierced before, no troubles installing and removing my screws. Suddenly, with my new nose piercing I couldn't seem to master it. I watched this video and it went in the first try. Pressing your finger or pad thumb of your thumb against the inside of the hole is a must if you have a fat little pudgy nose like me

I got my nose pierced for the first time in 2009 when I was in college, and the ring they put in was a screw. I tired to change it, and it closed because I couldn't get the stupid screw in. I got it pierced again, and just never took it out. I just graduated over the summer, and got a job for which I have to remove it. I took it out and put in a retainer. When I tried to put the screw back in, I couldn't. This is the ONLY video that helped me get it back in. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

OMG, Thank you so much. I am 53 and a new-bee to nose piercing. My starter nose ring broke and fell out. I really like my nose ring and was scared of it closing. so the next day I went to a piercing shop and got 2 nose rings just in case one fell out again. I had the tech do it for me because i didn't know what to do. Well it fell out yesterday, again. After all day making my nose sore and watching thousands of videos I cam across yours. Thank you so very much it was in in 1 minute and now I don't have to worry. I believe your instructions will stay with me forever. However, I book marked your video just in case. Thank you so much. I wish you put a video out there that specifies what nose ring is the best, where to get the jewelry and the best quality for your nose or your belly button. Thank you so much. Even a 53 I feel pretty.

Ok I finally got this to work after an hour of trying. I found that the rainbow section was smaller than the thickness of my nostril. So as I was doing the twisting, I squeezed my nostril with my fingers and it narrowed a bit. Went right in! It would also help if you could use a jewelry pliers to widen the arch of the rainbow, but I didn't have mine on me.
