Tropically Fit (TropicallyFit.com) my green cheek Kermit let me put on his Aviator harness and I was able to take him outside! He chewed on it at first but he forgot about it when he went outside. Your tiels are so cute!

Thanks! I am trying the harness with my Cockatiels and it takes awhile for them to get used to it. The flight suit looks good as they will poop in there instead of your shoulder

In my next video I'm going to post next week I show how I remove the flightsuits and why I love the way these flightsuits were designed because when the bird poops the poop drops to the bottom of the diaper (pouch) and it's no longer in contact with the bird 👍😎💖🌞

I am buying the elastic band this weekend. I think it is 3/4in width. Fingers crossed my Tweety gets in and out as good as your babies😊 Thanks for the video and links!
I have a sad story 2 days ago I was in my room and I forgot to close the window in the room my budgies were, a cat came in and knocked the cage.I heard a loud noise and came to check.The cat tried to eat my birds! Lilly(blue female budgie) was stuck at the botton of the cage and couldnt leave and Ronald(green male budgie) was missing! I was worried and sad the neighbors cat ate my budgie but 1 day later i was outside with my budgie lilly (she was in her cage) and saw a green budgie come by and tried to open the cage! I tried to grab him but he flew away! 2 days have past and he hasn't came back. Ive been looking for him but there is still no sign of him! Im so worried and scared something happened to him...😞😭 "Idk why but i called them my birds, they are my cousins but i mostly take care of them".
if it's female than she will not chirp and sing almost at all, it's normally only males that mimic and sing, although some females will do small chirps and might sing and mimic if you work with her enough and if she trusts you
Thanks for part 1 flight suit donning video. It has improved my technique but Ive got a bit of a problem wirh Bobbie's feet. I've learnt from tou that you have your bieds nails filed or clipped. We have nothing like that where I live in Aus. Ive ordered a pet nail rotating file which I hope will help me quickly and gently trim the talons to make suit donning less stressful for my bird. @@AwArr0 LOL it's a ... cord. It's hella flexible and it's called that way because it "absorbs" the tug... well it's kinda hard for me to explain so it's just very flexible 'nd nice to their bodies
Hello, Thank you for your video. It's very helpful. Approximately, what is the length of the elastic so that is allows the bird to fly if it gets spooked but not so long that everything gets tangled. I'm in the middle of attaching my elastic on. Thank you.
The flightsuit actually functions as a sort of diaper. You see the duck-tail looking part that sticks out under their tails? That catches the poop. It comes with liners that you just change every time you take the suit off.
It’s the same process with me except Kiwi does not like the flight suit at all. I believe now it is because I never gave him time to get acquainted with the suit before even putting it on and he may see it as a punishment. 😔
I know im realllyy commenting late but i have a question. How long do you have to keep the leash to your bird so it can get used to it and where? (My bird is always outside her cage so idrk where to put it so she can get used to it), my bird is also realllyyy scared of the leash so what should i do to make her used to it? (Shes a budgie btw) if anyone is like a bird expert or had experienced with the bird leash could someone please reply? Ty!
Can you do a video on how you sewed your leash please. I'd love to get a flight suit but worried if my bird flew, velcro would undo with the attached leash. Yours looks heaps safer. Thank you

I use the aviator harness, I wouldn't trust velcro! Plus sewing the leash? And my bird would not like this diaper kind, sorry everyone has different ideas mine works very easy for me. No offense, Im open to all ideas for parrots. Thanx though
My dear ... please reply me, I've heard parrots don't breed if we put diapers on them ,even if we remove diapers,they don't mate and lay eggs and have babies. They get stressed when we touch them. Is that true??? They don't breed if we introduce diapers in their life?????
I love your videos so much. You are an amazing person! I am going to get the flight suit and try to get my 8 week old cockatiel Enzo used to the sight of it for a week before trying to put it on. Do you have any advice? He lets me touch him, he's hand fed and pretty used to me, but isn't super comfortable with me holding his body. Hopefully he will take to the suit! I've had him for one week so far. Thanks again for all of the informative videos.
Did you do a lot of training with your birds? Cause mine was handraised, but freaks out when I hold him. Do I really have to train him little by little or could I just put it on after they are not scared of the suite itself anymore?

I’m about to get a baby bird I think it’s albino and I’m getting a harness for it to train it cause I don’t it to fly away in the house because it’s about to snow in a few days so I’m just gonna use it inside also I have a dog that try’s to eat my bird when it flew out the cage

Please reply I need help! My cockatiels scream like I'm torturing them whenever I put on the flight suit and afterwards they won't stop biting it. Were your birds always this easy or did they also scream in the beginning? Should I just ignore this behaviour and keep forcing them in the suit hoping they'll get used to it or should I try to get them to go in their suit willingly? If so how can I make them go in the suit willingly??? I want my cockatiels to be calm like yours when they take the flight suit but It seems almost impossible!
What size do you have for your little one? My gyzmo is only 4 months old but I’m wanting an estimate because I don’t think he’s going to let me measure him 😂 let alone sit still for that long
My bird is angry/scared when i want to catch her like this 2:11 and she screams :c i want to walk with my bird on harmess but if she will be afraid... Bird is tame (sorry my english is bad ;pp)
@@arielcontreras-guerrero4714 Cool that exciting!!! If you are in a place that might be problematic I simply place my tiel inside a tiny carrier... then I can definitely take him pretty much anywhere with no worries 👍😎😃
