It won't fit as nicely on as they do the G6 and the G7, but it might be able to be rigged on like I did on the G5. But, I suggest checking out PPF, cheaper and less bulky. I go over it in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-62ifg9ARFmk.html
My stock g5 pads were wearing down at the knee block after just a halff year of use. But i bought them at release and due to covid it haden't used them that much. They were allready out of warranty but i tought i can always contact warrior maybe they can fix something. I contacted them and they said we ain't going to replace the pads but you will receive a pair off slide plates when the g6 realeses. I received the pair but they look a little diffrent. They are all white and have a different velcro wicch just wraps fully around the knee block. I only had issues with it the first skate but after tightening the velcro as strong as i could they just stayed perfectly in place.
So, just as an update to this and so people know. You got sent a prototype plate with longer velcro straps than what the retail offerings will be. The retail ones will be clear with the same attachment system as the ones in my video.
They don't work REALLY for any pad but the G6 and G7. They push the knee block off the ice when you wear them on other pads and it causes a gap under the thigh rise. If you want to increase your sliding, check out PPF, I talk about it in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-62ifg9ARFmk.html If you are playing ball hockey and want a slider, these would be okay but I believe there are ball hockey specific sliders that would work better.
I ordered my G6 set in early May and no luck yet with delivery, when did you order yours? Are they worth it, I got a pair of Bauer M5s which I absolutely cannot endorse for me not a good fit, I came out of G3s and I loved those but sadly nothing lasts for ever 😔
I ordered my pads a few days after the customizer came out. I don't exactly remember when that was sorry. I really like the G6, especially with the Extra stiff that I ordered. But they are very different from the G3 so if you were a fan of those you might not want to order a stiffer option. What is wrong with the M5?
I was able to aquire a older, barely used Vaughn Velocity 7450. I saw vinyl repair patch kits used on car seats at the auto store. What's your opinion if I used them on certain parts of the pads as a way to protect the material from wear and tear?
It should work, will probably cause a bit of a bump on them though. Are your 2S Pro pads sliding poorly? The material they used on the knee blocks on those made them slide well when I used them.
