You are a life saver! In 2014 I bought the sofa bed and put it together and didn't think to save the instructions. Fast forward to 2021, movers disassembled it down to the original pieces and I see that Ikea does not sell these anymore... so it was quite a puzzle until I found your video--complete and easy to understand instructions! THANKS for taking the time!

Very good job! have been using this sofa bed for years mostly as a bed and btw it's absolutely comfortable one! I managed to assemble that sofabed within one hour so I believe you really did well assembling that only in less than 30 minutes :)

Very helpful, thank you. I had it delivered a week ago and didn’t think I’d be able to do it by myself but I managed. Took me a while between the video and referencing the instruction leaflet. I may have used the wrong screws in one place with it all worked out.

OMG you're a live saver!! I was stuck trying to use the spanner to turn the nuts on the bolts and was getting nowhere. Now I see it just keeps it still while you use the Allen wrench 😅

Hi great video I just got a second hand one assembled already. what I'm confused about is when it's in the sofa position and you lean against the back rest there is lots of movement almost like somting may snap, ( not the seating area put the back rest) are they just like this Thanks

Your video was so very helpful putting this together. Thank you. I did not try putting it into a sofa until recently as had family here for 4 months using as a bed. The frame easily goes into sofa position but after mattress is put on and Velcro attached it is so hard to push and even with a wall in back. I can not get it to stay as a sofa. I am checking your video again and looks like together correctly. Has anyone else had this problem.

I think the bottom portion should have the legs installed to the same side. Some people reported it folding on to itself when sleeping.

Your video was very helpful because I didn't have the manual, so thank you. However the two sets of wheels should face the same direction (not towards each other) otherwise it folds up when you lie on it.

Small “typo” at @15:50 - bed is unstable unless all the wheels point toward the back of the bed. You can see this in the printed picture at the very beginning of the video. Thank you though! We had no instructions and this was still helpful.

I noticed you used the wall to convert the sleeper to a sofa, but their video on their website uses no wall.

We received this in the mail today! The packaging was fine, no damage during shipping thank goodness! The construction was very simple ru-vid.comUgkxXH3jIpsn6vpr3D26KWAriUejh7CSxVp7 , the bottom rocking part and the ottoman were already put together for us which is nice!As for the actual quality, the wood seems fine.. Not too cheap but maybe not the quality you would find in a store for 400$. However, it is still sturdy and feels secure. I've only had it for one night, so of course no squeaking yet.. But if it does squeak it could be easily oiled. The cushions are comfy, and made of a suede like material. Obviously with time these cushions will probably wear and tear.. But for the price of the chair it is still worth it just to go out and buy new cushions that fit in the future.Overall I am very satisfied, I was a little worried after reading some reviews and looking through the photos, but I'm happy I bought it! Obviously it's not a heavy-duty chair, but with care I'm hoping it will last a while.
