For SeedProd, once you install and activate the plugin, you would navigate to SeedProd, Pages, and click the 'Set up a Maintenance Mode Page' button. You will be given the choice to select from a premade template and we would recommend selecting one of the pre-built pages to customize.
SeedProd has a drag and drop page builder where you can customize any object you like, including changing text, location of elements, or resizing elements. Once you have set up the page how you wanted, click the save in the top right. Once your maintenance page is set up, SeedProd allows you to activate the page under SeedProd, Pages using the toggle beneath Maintenance mode.
If you need a simple alternative solution, then we would recommend the WP Maintenance Mode plugin found using the link below:

Once you install and activate the plugin you can find its settings under Settings, 'WP Maintenance Mode', and from that settings page you have the option to activate the maintenance mode page, allow bots to crawl your site while it is in maintenance mode and many other useful customization settings depending on how you want the maintenance page to work with your site.

This was very helpul, i got my site into maintenance mode. Two questions: 1) to use the URL page selection, you will need to have PRO installed appears? 2) The small block on the photo using the car has a "Contact Us" on it that looks like it should be a email address? I did not know how to change that "Contact Us: to show my email address? Thanks

Only affecting certain pages is a pro option at the moment. The button for Contact us has Mailto: added to it which should automatically pull up a user's preferred email program. Otherwise, you could change the settings for the button to change the button text if you wanted.

Hello Christin. Awesome stuff, thanks for these sites, as a beginner they work well for me, and I am sure they will work well for the techies too who have little idea how to communicate their ideas very well. Can you tell me how to place a novel written by me on a Wordpress site. I have bookpress but I am damned if I can make any sense from how to move from setting book up to having it accessible on my site. Also can you show us how to make a library for our own books so that are displayed on a book shelf. thanks again.

We do not have a guide on this at the moment, one of the simplest methods to do what you're looking for would be to create a custom post type and add a PDF or other file using our guide below: www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-embed-pdf-spreadsheet-and-others-in-wordpress-blog-posts/ That way when a user visits the post with the book's PDF they can read the novel.

Hey Christin, when a website is in maitenance mode do we need to have/keep the cookie banner and show the privacy policy or this is not needed?

Hello. i installed and activated the maintanece mode plugin but the page doesn't go to maintanece mode, what flushes this? I can't figure this out. I hope you have a good suggestion. Greetings from a new beginner

If the maintenance mode page is enabled and not displaying, we would first recommend checking using an incognito window as your logged in user would not see the page. You would also want to clear any caching.

Help! I'm unable to [Save] my SeedProd Maintenance Mode design. When I go to Wordfence Tools --> Live Traffic, I see a couple of my attempts to [Save] that were redirected, but they do NOT show an option to “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOW LIST. "????

Yes, you would use the include URLs section for deciding which URLs to show it on.

You may want to ensure the site was in maintenance mode for you to publish it. The other option would be if you have a different plugin that is setting your site to maintenance mode.
