How to quarter saw a log the easy way! Using my Woodmizer sawmill I take you through the process of quarter sawing anyone can do!
I thought quarter sawing was difficult and super time consuming and while it does take longer than flat sawing, it isn't and shouldn't be difficult! The Wood Mizer way of quarter sawing is very easy to do and produces great lumber. I'll show you how to quarter saw a log the easy way!
You will get both quarter sawn lumber as well as rift sawn lumber with this method; it's super easy to do, very fast and unless you are after ONLY ray fleck in every board this is a great way to quickly quarter saw up a log!
