Use the channels created by the telescoping handles to pack your flat shoes, flip-flops and your straightener/curling iron - don’t waste that space! Then you'll have even more space on the other side of your suitcase.

Only change I would make is you have too many bags for toiletries. I have a large one with everything for the cabin and a smaller one for items needed once out of the cabin. It goes in my backpack. I purchase the miniature of my favorite products and refill. Almost ALL bottles/tubes/tins can be refilled. If unsure, go to RU-vid for directions. All in all, I enjoyed your video. 😁

I haven't been on a cruise yet but its so fun watching this and preparing for one! :) thought I might also share the best carry-on bag I have been using for a long time now and recommend it to you. I used to use packing cubes and a 24 inch luggage. When I decided to go to a carryon suitcase I realized that I could put more in the suitcase if I did not use packing cubes…I ranger roll everything and I make sure to fill every negative space….we love cruising too! Bon Voyage! 🌹

I go between wanting to use them and not! LOL. Even when I do use them, I still roll everything. Rolling is really the key, I think! There really is nothing like cruising, huh??!

How much did your suitcase weigh? I want to be able carryon my bags on plane 😬, Im definitely a over packer, but seeing you fit all those things in that small suitcase give me hope lol, usually don’t use packing cubes 🤔

Wow…a video in real time not warp speed. I may never do a carry on but your video helps a lot! Only thing I would have done would be to put my shoes, etc on the side of the bag with the extension handle…in the grooves. Thanks so much!,

I don’t typically fly… I drive, so it isn’t an issue for me. However, if it won’t fit, they will check it for free for you at the gate, most times.

If you’re driving to your port and plan to shop, for sure being a bigger suitcase. I don’t do a ton of shopping at port and what I do collect are small things like magnets and Christmas ornaments! For sure plan ahead for shopping if you are a big shopper!

I understand you want to keep things in their own spots, but you can actually bring all that down to 3 cubes. same with your toiletries bags only need 2 one for make- up and one for everything else, makes for a lot more space.

I pack so I don’t have to check it, but I always choose to just so I don’t have to carry it around with me. I like to get on the ship as early as possible, so rooms aren’t ready until 1-2pm. If I get on at 11am and then have to carry it around for several hours, it’s a lot! Lately, when I check it, it is at my room by the time I’m allowed to go to the room, so I choose to do that! When I disembark, I always take my own luggage off, though.

@@porchagordon7815 correct, or I drive a long distance. Don’t really care to fly. However, I will be flying to Florida in December. I will still carry on for that, I will just change out some of the toiletry items for the sizes that are approved.
