How To Quickly Clean Your Vespa Scooter with Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner 

Yep, this is the second step or perhaps for a quick detail if the bike/scooter is relatively clean to start with. I would never rub my paint covered in dirt with just a spray cleaner. It may look good on camera but FFS, wash your ride first like a normal human & detail with spray cleaners afterward.

This works great on plastic as well.

You can do it, but we'd recommend covering some of the larger connectors, or anything that's unprotected, with a plastic bag or tape just to make sure. You can also go back through with an air gun and blow everything off when you're done.
