Thanks for the video. My son's school taught this as the "ordinate differences" method, which was not in the textbook....and the teacher's accompanying notes were not great. A google search for "graphing parabolas using ordinate differences" shows up with nothing. Did not understand why you move sideways by 1 unit.....looks like that is just what is done in this method and teacher's notes didn't explain this. This was hugely helpful! Thanks.
