I'm so proud of my parents. After watching this video, I realized how perfect my parents are. I'm always grateful to them.

The reason we are failing as a society is because of the lack of parenting education. We impose and distant our children so much so that we destroy their confidence and burden them with what we accept as a success criteria. We forget that happiness is ultimate goal and Taqwa is followed by happiness and contempt that a person feels himself. I've had my father deal with me in a very difficult way and when they spend money or raise you, they think of it as something we owe, and that it has no pleasure for them in it. We are only accepted if we do whatever they say. It's just that our society thinks that they know parenting from birth. No, it is a skill that has to be learnt. If parents make it difficult to have a conversation with them without them converting it into an argument and taking everything personal. We will avoid having any type of dialog in future. Now that I'm a father myself, I feel pleasure in spending time with my kids and buying things for them, I do not expect anything in return because I do it out of love and it gives me pleasure. We can only guide and show the path, if someone follows or not it's in Allah's hands so we make dua that our children be righteous. Inshallah. Our generation needs parenting education so we can raise better children who can lead in future. Currently, it's just very bad.

For those fathers with young kids: listen to this advice and FOLLOW it. Ustadh Nouman's got it spot on. I wish I knew all this when my kids were younger. It's one of my biggest regrets in life. When that time is gone ... it's gone. And no amount of wishing will bring it back.

This makes me thinking about why my father had to die. Although I'm not even muslim. This is very good advice and I hope I'll remember that great lesson when I'm a father.

Sometimes parents turn into the biggest reason for their child's suffering and they don't even realize it plus they'll shame their child for even complaining and tell them that they'll end up in hell and similar stuff for being so ungrateful and misbehaving and complaining, the child might actually stop complaining and start keeping his feelings to himself but inside he is dying , the biggest pain one can have is to be suffering and feeling guilty for complaining for that suffering

Alhamdulillah, I have also started practicing sabr towards my children , and as a first step I have stopped yelling at them completely . But no results in kids behavior in return and they are just utilizing it , I hope Allah make it easy for me and my kids start responding the same way with sabr

i wish my father could listen to this... my parents are abusive. im a 13 year old girl and ever since i was born ive been getting abused. it doesnt matter if im on a menstrual cycle, he will still hit me. my mother screams at me and my 4 year old sister for very small reasons. they would tell me to go kill myself or they would threaten to kill ME. ive gotten depression, anxiety, and i'm even having thoughts of killing myself. i want my parents to be less toxic and start thinking about how we feel. i feel worthless in this family.

To be honest my dad was superman and he already knew all the Things and now I'm 17 years old(still a teenager) and I'm happy with my family 😍my family is everything to me right now❤ I'm blessed to have a best family like this😇

The fact that my dad is imam and never actually gave me fun time other than scoldings and I never disturbed him whenever I saw him tired... Im an empath too.... My mom passed away when I was 9 yrs old.... And now I became 17....and he comes out of the blue and asks what's wrong with u? Why don't u share anything? What is in ur head? Well when I try to explain u start shouting what shall I explain? U even brought more 5 siblings to the world n want me to cook for them,change their pampers, even be back of them for 24/7....im a child just uk.... I want a job... But he is completely against it instead of any advices.... I didn't born to marry.... Long story.... I wish dad would see this video.... But he won't even search for this

My father and I were both passive introvert so we dont talk much. Alhamdullilah my dad was and still is so soft and caring as a mother. I love my dad for being not harsh on us. He always talked with us gave our advice and let me make my own mistakes. Im thankful and would never ask for another dad in my life he gave me my space I needed that because I wasn’t listening to my parents so confused and stubborn at my 16. I have committed many sins before I could understand Islam and what God want from us. I lived on my own terms but I have seen pain deceivers dishonesty everything before I turned to Allah. Because of Allah I know now who I am and what I want and what I need. Im so thankful for my lesson and my childeren are childeren from unbelievers but their fathers never had the chance or forced me to let my childeren become from another religion. My childeren all are muslims and one of my daughter married a scholar. Wrong decisions can turn in to a blessing. Because you can make tauba and live your life in the way of Islam. That’s how beautiful and understanding our Lord is He will see trough you and knows that you will be a better servant when you learned about right & wrong. And now I think 10 times before making any decisions and Allah guides me because without Allah my life would be a disaster He is my Helper and my real Friend in need.

Yusuf alaihi assalaam, was homeschooled and didn't go to public school like our kids go. This make the biggest difference. Homeschool your kids and they will be parents best friends.

I have 2 sister, my parents raised me in perfect Islamic way, I'm trying to follow their teachings. But lately, they are losing control of my sisters education, my sisters are getting away from Islamic teachings and they are being distracted by modern things like English songs, bad movies ecc.. I'm hoping, May Allah give my parents patience to keep working with my sisters to adjust their (my sisters) Faith on Allah. Ameen.
