Thanks for the video. Maybe next time ranked is at T6/7 I will give it a try to get my feet wet now that I have a better idea of how to position and support. Also are their any other "How to" vids out there? Might be nice to post all of them for future reference. I missed your WI discussion on discord the other night.
Helpful again, thanks! Regarding your early "no rhyme or reason" about ranked ship selection: is there a tier floor? I haven't really kept anything below Tier IV since that seemed to be the basement for normal combat missions and other content.
You say you want tickets if people behave toxic, but I am done with that. In the past I send in such ticket of somebody who was apparently not happy the way I played. I said nothing to him to provoke anything. He contacted me after the match and whished me death by cancer and a whole lot of other things. So, I reported it. Things were dealt with by the support team, but I could see that he could play on. Like usual. No ban, not even temporary, and the support team was not going to tell what they are going to doing with him. If WG wants me to write tickets and do the effort and help them to get the toxic players out of the game, then I expect something back and that is that I can clearly see that my tickets matter. Otherwise, it is pointless and even frustrating to make such a ticket.
Chat issues tend to be dealt with by Chat Sanctions. You may have continued to see him play, but probably didn't hear from him during the match or after. -- Sanctions don't tend to get immediately to Permas, so repeated Tickets may be needed for repeat abusers. Every Ticket matters in reaching that ultimate conclusion of them either stopping being a jerk, or being stopped from being able to be a jerk.
@@ahskance6321 Well, in my opinion whishing somebody death by a painful cancer is in my opinion worth a harder punishment then just a small chat ban. That is no way proportional. In that period, I lost somebody who was very dear to my who was screaming from pain by cancer and if WG is thinking that a simple chatban is appropriate then I am not going to send in tickets. I am not saying that somebody's account should be deleted by the first offence, but WG is creating an environment where very toxic behavior is normal. It is already very normal to see words like "idiots" in the chat nearly every match. It is after all the responsibility of WG to create a safe and friendly environment and not mine. I was prepared to help by sending in a ticket but when I see minimal result then WG can read the chat themselves. That is not my job.
@@ahskance6321 But let me also say something positive, because I enjoyed the video overall. It was very informative and contained all the information that I was looking for. Thanks for that. 👍
