I truly thought the strange engine noises were going to require pulling the engine apart. Fortunately, I had the sense to remove the flywheel before going to all that trouble, And Voila! There I found the problem, which turned out to be a pretty simple fix after a little online research. I hope you enjoy following me as I work through this problem, with a happy conclusion.
