Been binge watching your videos. I love your professionalism. The amount of information you share is staggering. Thanks for taking the time to create the videos and share your knowledge. I’ve enjoyed watching you build your own pond. I will eventually give it a go myself in my own garden. Watching your videos has given me the inspiration to imagine how it will look and the steps I need to take to create get stuck in. Cheers.
I too have been binge watching your videos.I used to live on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, but now live in Haliburton Ontario Canada. I'm in the process of building a pond, and waterfall along side of a two tier patio. You have given me a tonn of ideas and infomation. Thank you. The difference here is, i'll have to make the pond deep, and also shut down the waterfall in the winter.
Thanks for watching Stuart and for your kind words- good luck with your build- would love to see the end results so feel free to email me pics in the future! Best, Ed
Beautiful garden, fabulous pond. I used to love doing smaller garden ponds moved home a few times but always had to have a pond, sadly I'm much older and less nimble now so thank you for the joy you bring as i sit and watch all your videos 🧓
That pond is just stunning. You literally have created a masterpiece, I’m sure the owners are delighted. You clearly are a perfectionist not only in your pond construction but in the presentation and production of your videos. I’m surprised someone like you has not been snapped up to present prime time tv on this subject. There must be a market for this kind of programme and an audience that don’t even realise that they would love a pond. Now that would be original reality tv worth watching. I suspect however that you are content as you are and I don’t blame you. Am loving your videos!
It’s absolutely stunning…. What lucky people to have you and Dave, working so hard with so much knowledge, and a lovely aesthetic. Also you appreciate the wildlife in and around the pond. Well done guys 🐸
Taken so many ideas from this one… Particularly like the walled beds just below the surface… I’m moving to a new (new build) house in September and the pond, stream and waterfall is my project… The one we’ve left behind was beautiful and I’ll stick with a similar design but I know that the things I’ve learnt from here will definitely help… Great video and series…👍
Fantastic work, I'm just in the process of relining my pond after 25 years. Do I do realise how much hard work and time consuming it all is. Hopefully, weather depending the new liner will be in this week and start to get back to normal and tidy the rest of the garden from the mess it caused. Love the videos. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching and commenting and good luck with your project! It certainly is a lot of work but it’s very rewarding and will give you many years of pleasure! Best, Ed
I'm finally mustering up the courage to tackle a total makeover and relining of our backyard pond. Previous owners of the house did it themselves pretty sloppily to put in place of an old above ground pool. Plus it is not deep enough and our gold fish keep getting eating by herons. Watched this series in its entirety. Thank you so much for all of the insight. Makes it seem a little less daunting. I know you put pebbles in the shallow plant areas, but do I need to put rocks on the bottom of the pond itself? Right now, it's just liner and is full of muck. Was wondering if pebbles or rocks would help with supporting bacteria and other decomposers. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and your kind words! For client confidentiality I wouldn’t want to publicly post costs of such installations but feel free to drop me an email and I’ll let you know! Best, Ed
Thanks! You can go on my website (google crystal clear aquatics) and there’s links to my email and contact page. For general queries I’m happy if people ask via the channel- that way others can see the answers and hopefully gain some insights as well!
great job , stunning pond, love the shape looking forward to the next project question, is there any chance of giving us a rough estimate of cost for the various items / products you use? i went on your facebook page ? to ask the question but i wasn't sure if it was the right page as it was all fish tanks? ;0)
