I had my tires rotated a few days ago. Immediately upon driving the vehicle I noticed that the Message Occurring and the little symbols in the indicating a low tire lite up. I went back and apparently the service department didn't have the time to reset the tire pressure monitor system they said it would take a couple hours before they could get to it. Couple days later I'm working out on the road and decide to pull into another tire dealer to see if they could go ahead and reset the pressure monitor system , again they couldn't get to it for couples. Frustrated I decided to come home and look it up on RU-vid to see what I can find. Keep in mind I'm a 68-year-old female and I move a little slower then normal. . I pulled up your video and noticed how easy it was to reset it, I then grabbed my keys and went outside. I followed your instructions . Thank you with all my heart for sharing your knowledge. A very grateful senior citizen.
Perfect! Thank you thank you! I just picked up a 2008 Chevy Uplander and right away got the Tire Pressure System Warning. I thought for sure I was in for an expensive diagnostic and repair. But this worked like a charm!!! Within 5 minutes, the warning was gone and my display showed me an accurate pressure reading for all 4 tires!!! Thank you thank you thank you!
Thanks, I am at work, and getting ready to leave and wondered if there was a video on this and found this. Thanks for the inspirational message at the end. You're a good man.
I watched this and reset my 2010 Camaro. My light has been on for several months and I thought I was going to have to go to the dealership for shell out big bucks. It was SO easy!! By the way, I am female, so if I say it's easy, it definitely is.
You're awesome thanks for this video. I just had my front passenger tire and sensor changed on my work van by firestone and they could not reset the sensor for some reason. I left pissed. I came home and looked up and found your video on youtube followed the procedure and now I'm right as rain.:) Thanks again man.
Thank you Chuck. Great presentation, clear, to the point. I have Enclave with this problem; will try in the morning. I liked your video. Keep up the good work sir.
Awesome!! Thank you for sharing. I'm going to do this tomorrow on my Chevy Avalanche. I was concerned that something needed to be repaired, but I'm going to try this first. Since I pressed "Relearn Tire Pressure" after putting air in one of my tires and then drove off. Since then the Service Tire Monitoring System warning has been coming on intermittently for like 3 days.
RU-vid has nearly made me certified mechanic! (Just kidding. I won't disrespect actual trained mechanics by saying that but these tutorials definitely help!)
Apple Drains, I owe you big time, I have a Chevy Silverado 2012 and its pretty much the same procedure--- Thanks for making that annoying light go away, -- Beto'
Omg i was driving my Buick for 6 months with this ERROR code. I kept fuiling the front tires and it was actually the rear tires that needed work. Thank you so Much for this video. My readings are accurate now. God Bless You and Your Family!!!
Figured it out, I have a 2009 Silverado. I put key in ignition , Held down the lock and unlock on remote until horn honked that put it in learn mode. Then followed the steps in your video. Thanks for the video. hope this helps others that rotate their own tires.
Thanks for this video just left the repair shop trying to sell me a TPMS for $75 because the dumb dumb mechanic did not know how to program the 2008 Cadillc esc ext thanks for the info.
Hey Chuck - I have been having this problem for over a year but did not wanted to cough out couple hundred $$$. Tonite when I go home I will do what you have showed me. Thank for the tutoriail.
If tpms still shows and all tires are good check your full spare tire , note full spare tire on mine was low making my tpms on my Toyota set off every couple of miles.
I long for the good old days when you drove your car till it broke then you fixed it and you didn't have all those flashing lights. and symbols bugging the crap out of you!
My tire pressure monitoring system light came on after having putting tires on my battery went dead and I'd seen on RU-vid that disconnecting the battery cables would reset it so whenever I had the car boosted radar pressure monitoring system reset no longer have the light on
My dash is setup differently but would it be the same on an 03 DeVille? Also my Traction control illuminates along with the Tire pressure monitor, does it reset itself when resetting the tire monitor?
