Believe me a “few hours” doesn’t really cut it, It’s probably about 6-10 hours to get joker that swole from the gym and also depends on if you skip through dialogue, My first Playthrough of P5R took 87 hours (including 3rd semester) without any DLC, then decreasing down to 56 hours in NG+ due to me not needing to hit the gym as much
@@jjaa558 He says first playthrough without dlc. It's impossible unless he's skipping the story. Even with skipping the story I still hit 100 hours on december
If you don't have the dlc persona he was using for the shiki ouji part you can use a persona with life aid (faster method witout the dlc persona) or invigorate (slower method without dlc persona) and spam battles, it ain't as fast but it works
Guide was helpful up until the part where you said to equip the Kizunoha tubes, as that dlc item doesn't seem to exist on the Persona 5 Royal ports on the switch, xbox, etc. Followed your advice regardless, numbers were only off by a little bit and I was able to quite frankly spam Megidolaon every turn (save for a few times I got below 180 HP) and did perfectly fine
I had a better time using Ann, Morgana (lust ring), and Makoto (Gluttony ring). I kept healing with those three while buffing myself and debuffing him. And I used Showtime when I wasn’t in a tight spot. I got to the second phase a few turns after they died tho.
My strat is a bit slower, but it still works. Requirements: Mementos is unlocked Level 27 New Game + Izinagi No Okami (both versions work) Null Curse + Bless (reaper uses lots of insta kill skills) Heat Riser + Concentrate + Debilitate 2nd. 3rd. 1st After that, you’re all good in grinding. Just keep going for the reaper and you’ll be level 99 in a few minutes.
@@KirigayaMarc Just play with him or maybe go grinding in mementos. If you’re talking about normal izinagi, then you’re gonna need a skill card but he’s not really useful for magic and more for physical if you wanna go for a phys build.
You can use the auto generated subtitles feature but if it's not enough I can write for you a brief. Can you be more specific on what you don't understand? Is it the explanation? Or the pronunciation?
@@AoNoPenguin oh thanks for the advice the CC helped quite a bit , other then that just the pronunciation I guess but i super appreciate all your work every with that
Hey, exactly how can I get Soma in Royal? It doesn't seem to be included in the free DLC bundle, so it would help a ton if you told us where to get Soma earlier in the game than Sae's Palace
@@M3Y2e well, to begin with, I bought Persona 5, and downloaded all the free stuff, which was blank skill cards, costumes and healing items. Soma was one of these healing items. Then, about 2 months later, I bought Persona 5 Royal, and downloaded the free DLC Legacy bundle, which did include DLC Personas, Blank Skill Cards, costumes and only HP restoring items, and did not include Soma. I've kept checking my cardboard box, as it keeps not appearing
@@M3Y2e OH, you're sying that if i have Soma on Persona 5 and save my file in Network Function, and then go on Persona 5 Royal nd try to load up Network data, I may get it on Royal?
@@hyperion7806 no. In p5r there's a gift you get for having a p5 save file on your ps4. You don't need to do anything besides have an existing save in p5. You get the gift from checking the box in your room. It has like 35,000 yen and some healing items, but I'm not 100% if it has soma
From the Compendium you can summon any Persona despite their levels. What you can't do is fuse a Persona with a higher level than you. The ones he is using are DLC included with the Royal edition.
grinding xp for joker in the second palace and i accidnetally used soma without equipping ariadne. tried to lose a battle so that i can revert back to when i entered a safe room just before i used the soma, and after several tries of being as passive as possible and still having enemies panic and leave, i am forced to the title screen, losing several hours of progress. i am actually furious.
I wish I was this good, The second castle took me so long to beat I genuinely don't understand how you guys can be so good at it, I changed the difficulty from normal to easy because it was too hard, I see all the other people one shot everything while mine barely does any damage
@katrintatevossian375 I'm assuming you already beat the game already, but to go through battles easily you wanna target the weaknesses of enemies where possible, which you can check by pressing the left-bumper on console. Joker can very easily target weaknesses as long as he has the right personas for the job. Typically, you wanna cover weaknesses that your party can't early game and then expand to all the different magic types as you get further in. Ambushing enemies helps as you guarantee that you will go first before the enemies do.
In a lot of max all confidant guides she's usually one of the first few you max cus her expanded inventory (the sp regen patches mostly) are really useful in battle
@evilanimegenious I am struggling to max her cuz I'm at a point my current playthrough where she wants a max rank charisma +_+ I got pretty far but I don't think I am gonna make it any farther unless I neglect my momentos tasks. People say intelligence and kindness are hard but I find charisma to be the hardest because i don't see alot of options to raise it outside events so far. Only place I found that gives it is part time at convenience store and it's slow.
@@alanbradley2143 You spend way to much time for an overpowerd persona. 1. The time isnt worth it. 2. the game lives from its strategic battles, which is completely unnecessary when you have such an overpowerd persona. 3. Besides Using this trick you could level ul the confidant with Ryuji to get the insta kill (Available while the 3. palace) which is way easier to farm xp in mementos.
I could see how this could be pretty fun admittedly if you're doing this on New Game + (which ig wouldn't matter cause you'd already have the highest personas available from your first run) or even for a fun laugh on Merciless or Hard mode, but for a first time experience it completely ruins your entire experience imo, why even do this instead of just playing the SAFE mode
Can skip the dlc-sona entirely and kill the madarame palace red shadow with the party until you have enough yen to get the sp accessory from takemi. Then just follow the other steps after that grind
I'm not entirely sure, but one of the personas you can get from the free legacy dlc bundle has a trait where you can use any item without using up your stock of said item after a baton pass.
Heres a better hint max confidant on all phantom thieves and max all confidants the will potentially boost you and your crew and after the focus on getting joker stronk and after that fight the reaper recommended lv 50
🤣 you don't need any of that just use myriad truth and concentration, put the difficulty on safe then put the block mudo and hama skills stuff on. I got to 99 before 3rd palace
Its an accessory if you have the legacy dlc. I think its called hermelin badge but if your looking for a skill card im sorry ivr also been looking for that
I love how you call me out with safe mode and izabagi no okami... Then again I platinumed persona 5 royal legit then decided to have a fun run of mass destruction
In Royal there are some achievements to complete in the Thieves Den, one of them requires to make 99 level persona with max stats. This video is actually really helpful for the NG+ and this achievement ;)
@@MinisculeNeeds Chihaya's celestial reading paired with intended gallows accidents are a much for efficient way to get a personas stats to lv 99. A side note is they are 2 separate achievements, so your persona that you want to max out stats for doesn't have to be lv 99, it just makes it take less time to grind gallows accidents due to the higher stats.
@@michaelohear8752 tbh when I done this achievement I used Surt to do all maxes and i used gallows, sure. It is a really good way to max stats of a persona.
