The video was useful. Thank a bunch. Could you please add subtitles to the videos for better understanding, like in my case, English is a foreign language to me.
title -> abstract -> intro [unless you've a good background on the subject then skip to last paragraph of intro] -> result -> discussion -> conclusion -> methods [because you're usually aren't going to replicate the same experiment as much as you're looking for the data]
I have a question why people write research paper or reveiw article or why they publish?? What benefit they get?? I know it's silly question but I really wanna know??
@@aansajahanarazia720 universities want to have more publications because they get funding from this. Aside from the financial benefits, there's also the prestige of having new discoveries. There are awards given to researchers on a global level (Nobel Prize), national and university level. You become a prominent person in your field which can translate to fame and power, and also you get money from the awards, and have a higher chance of getting your next research get a lot of funding. Of course, the love for discovery and having to contribute to the pool of knowledge is the most important motivation. Without research, we wouldn't have our devices that we're using to watch youtube. Everything innovative that we see in the market starts off from research.

I was having trouble reading a research paper, I felt lost midway while reading. After watching your video, I tried to follow it the way you suggested, it really helped me to follow better. Thank you so much, it was a great help!
Wow great! I never ever interpret the results on my own. I just simply study what author says. But hereafter I will.. thanks for suggesting🤗 And also I need to add some point. If we are newbiee to the topic, we should start the topic from review paper or book before we get into research paper...
Reading a Research Paper Publication date is utmost important because the recent papers are more relevant. The author or authors, the name of journals to check it's legitimate & good one. Read Title- Title is the exact summary of research and hints about the kind of research and the conclusion also. Skim through the major headings- How is the structure in which it's organised. Charts & figures & pattern of the paper. Highlight unknown words & phrases. Read the abstract, it's the summary of the research paper. Reading it is like reading all the important points of paper without wasting much time. By now, you must have known the relavance of the paper and then decide clearly whether you should be further reading it all or not. If you decide to read then, Read Intro- if the topic is familiar, skip to the last section of the intro, if not then read whole. Go to the results section, read the important findings, refer back to the tables, graph & charts in the analysis section, interpret figures, take notes. Go the discussion, read it, decide on your own conclusion whether you agree to the conclusion drawn by the author or not. Check on to the conclusions & future aspects, possibility of further researches. Go through the methods- Methodology. This section is relevant to you if your prospective study is going to be similar to this paper. If you're going to replicate the research, this section needs deeper reading & understanding. Otherwise you may skip! Make notes in the keypoints & summarize if you reached till here. 🙂 Good Luck!

Hi there. I really liked the video. It was clear, logical, and easy to follow. I will be using it with both undergraduate and postgraduate students to help them develop their study skills.
Please make more such videos, regarding research process. It helps people like me who didn't make it to big universities to access new knowledge and infact do our own small researches. Thank you. Your English is very simple to hear and understand.
