If you are new to flying, reading an airline boarding pass can seem confusing. In this video, I will show you the different ways to get your boarding pass for your flight and then walk you through how to read each item of both a printed and a digital boarding pass so that you can travel like a pro.

In your opinion, do you think it is a good idea to use other type of ground transportation such as Amtrak or Greyhound to get to and from airports? This would be if you don't have anyone to take you to and from the airport, or you don't want to drive and don't want to pay for parking? For example, from Fresno, CA to SFO or LAX then back. A video like this would be great.

@@carlosmelendrez1417 I have taken Amtrak before going from DC to the Baltimore airport and it worked out great. I would avoid taking Greyhound just because the traffic can be unpredictable, especially in LA. At least with the train you know when you will arrive at the station.

@@carlosmelendrez1417 Most airlines will accept bikes on their planes as checked luggage. You will need to check with the airline you are flying on for their policy. On their website, they should have a ‘sporting equipment’ or ‘special baggage’ page where you can find their policy on bicycles. Some airlines will charge a fee, some will waive oversized baggage charges for sporting equipment, some won’t accept anything other than a “recognised bike bag” and some require it to be packed in a very specific way. You should double-check their requirements precisely. If bicycles don’t appear to be mentioned in their policy, be prepared to pay overweight baggage fees.

First time flying do I have to get another boarding pass when I’m catching a connecting flight?

You should receive all your boarding passes at the same time when you check-in for your flight unless you booked each flight separately in which case you would get your connecting boarding pass when you check in that flight.

You can do both. You can print your boarding pass at home and also have the digital one on your phone.

Hi, I'm using Turkish Airlines from Nigeria to Guyana and my connecting flights are in Istanbul and Panama, please am I using one boarding pass for all connections?

You will receive a separate boarding pass for each of your flights. If all of your flights are with Turkish Airlines then you will receive all of them at the same time when you check-in for your flight.

As long as you didn't book each flight separately then you will receive both boarding passes once you check in for your flight.

First time flying and going with southwest.

No need to check in again for a connecting flight unless you booked each flight separately. Just the one time will check you in for both flights.

You can get a digital boarding pass by downloading the airline app or sometimes you can receive one by text from the airline. You just have to pull up your reservation on the airline’s website and look for an option to text your boarding pass.

Why boarding pass is rejected sometimes? By the way, I have got a friend he traveled with a fake passport from Transite and his boarding pass is worked at check-in but I have another one who travelled in the same way but his boarding pass was rejected so he was revealed 😢 So what do u think the reasons are behind not accepting the boarding pass? It depends on the level of security for the country you are at. They should be scanning your passport at the time of check-in as well as when you arrive at your destination to make sure it is not a fake.
