@medicalassistingwithMsK I have a question please! Step number 5, calculating the QRS segment. Are we supposed to count the large boxes and multiply by 0.20? In the video you multiplied both steps 4 and 5 by 0.04. Not sure if that was an error or not. If not then what do we do with the step with 0.20? Thank you!

When you're calculating the PR interval and QRS segment, you have to count the small boxes (which equal 0.04), not the large boxes. When I mentioned counting the large boxes, that was in reference to calculating heart rate using one of the "R" methods. Does this help?

Yes, you may see this on the test. It's hard to say because every test is different as they randomize the questions. But yes this content is a part of the test plan.

😢 Hi, I have A QUESTION to ask. I graduated as a certification program as MA in 2012. But from 2014 i stop working until now 2023. I just started working 4month now. Chance 2012, i didn't take the CCMA or RMA exam. So my question is can i still take the exam now. It's been long time. PLEASE 🙏 answer me. Thank you.

You can try through NHA… they say 5 years but you can always try and see. Go to NHANow.com and fill out the application to take the test and then get the study materials.

I’m going through a similar situation- you will have to work one year and then can take it. I just called yesterday.

Hi, are you referring to a mobile phlebotomy business? If so, look up how to start that business in your city/state. You can use Google or search right here on RU-vid. Although I give this as a business idea, it’s not something that I have done myself so I’m not able to tell you the exact steps. I just know that you will need to most likely form an LLC, you will need a business bank account, and you will need to buy your supplies.

@MedicalAssistingwithMsK Thank you for this information I have one more question because I am trying to lunch my own business and it seems the RNS and LPNS have more independence, I was trying to see what Are MA'S allowed to do independently outside of the office, with starting my own business am I able to do ekgs for example?
