I've begun watching this series to gain on unstranding on schematics to aid me while I restore a 1960's philco strereo. Thank you for creating this series. It has been extremely helpful and easy to follow.
You are one of great instructor i have ever seen and thanks for this video dude. This #electrical diagram lesson is really easy to understand for the beginners.
Thank you I’ve been looking for this I’m trying to test to get into a paper mill and this on the test I didn’t do so well the first time awesome man it all makes sense now
What a fantastic way of explaining. All the videos in this series make me understand things well. Thank you very much Sir for creating those and sharing.
you can get the diagram from my web site. Go to the recent video page, open the video for this diagram and at the bottom you will see a link to the page it is on. Save it to your hard drive and print it from there.
Wonderfully explained..not at all crying here but at 47. Years ole finding that the man who raised me till I was 14 or 15 just finding this is not my real pop soooo God bless you sir for sharing your wisdom !!!! You can't buy this that tour doing at Wal-Mart. You sir are making a difference. Be bless at giving your110% thanks David
Oh BTW. Love the new series on reading wiring diagrams. I agree with you. Seems like everybody I've trained or tried to train has a hard time with wiring diagrams.
Excellent video. I have been to about a dozen videos on the topic of "electricity 101, and this one is the best. You make this so simple and easy to understand.
Sharpie makes a nice 5 marker set in the respective colors. I can't wait until Duane tells us to go and purchase a PowerProbe! Great video and series!!
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I think I am going to link to it from a video I am shooting. You do a much better job of explaining it than I would.
Hello sir, I've been watching all your videos they are all valuable. You enlightened all the question in my my mind as a technician. Although I am career mechanic with 53 years experience I learned a lot from you.keep up the good work may almighty god jehovah bless you.
This video was extremely helpful to me because, I am currently a marine electrician who have worked on submarines and navy surface ships. I also worked as a copy machine technician and a nuclear instrumentation technician - submarines. I am about to switch career over to automobile electrical diagnostics. I do understand how electrical and electronic circuits work however, there seem to be different symbols in the automotive industry, so that's the part i'm really concerned about. I do have some experience on electric vehicles (transit buses) so I feel confident that my past experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting will transfer over to the automotive field. I will be working strictly on Mercedes models beginning in January therefore is trying to get up to speed with the different symbols and color codes used in automotive schematics. This video has been extremely helpful as I said before therefore I will most certainly check out your other videos.
I have been watching you for the past 2 yrs now. I fix car and only deal with mechanical side but lately i wanted to learn more and to become auto technician instead. With basic and simple teaching's like this you got me covered. Keep up the good work.
Didn't understand the map of Missouri analogy at first, but continued to watch and that's the best point of view I have been shown👍👍 I wish I was taught like this at the beginning of my military career...I've always seemed to over think and complicate things
Madness! I studied in Soviet Union electro-technical school. And now sure- that fundamental education was the best. To read el. diagram one must know: -elements,lines -divide diagram on (power circuits, signal mv-t, control circuits etc) - and last: to read montage scheme
Very helpful. Thanks for posting. I've been trying to figure out my dishwasher circuit diagram for a week. It's been driving me crazy. Now I am able to figure some things out.
glad it helped. Keep in mind, all electrical diagrams are simply a map however sometimes different systems use different symbols (signs). Automotive and dishwasher may have different symbols but the all work electrically the same.
Thank you sir I really appreciate this. I have watched a lot of these kind of things and so far this has been the most helpful. Greetings from Sheffield UK.
I have just finished looking at this video a couple more times. Most of this stuff is starting to sink in. I think I said this was the meat and potato's of auto electronics repair. Change that to the steak channel. Very good job Duane.
Neon...this circuit does have a return. It is the green wire that he talks about. When the relay is energized (switch closed) the power is sent from the positive terminal and the electrons flow from the return through the load to the positive terminal of the power source. The only issue I have with this explanation is that there are no set standards for wire colors (it depends on the specifics of what the schematic is addressing (ie...automotive, circuit cards, computers etc...)) . The ground wire is usually black and not "green" in DC circuits. Positive is not always the color red. This explanation might give people a false sense of trying to identify voltages.
Thank you so much for this. I am actually so grateful that you have such an amazing way of teaching. I watched your video 3 times over to make sure I didn't miss anything.
@@realfixesrealfast Yes, sir! I'll be there. I'm using your videos to improve my electrical side, as my job role mainly focuses on mechanical engineering. I hope to be half as experienced as you some day.
Excellent Video, I can see i will learn alot from you, currently studying for my master tech course. Looking forward to see all the vids you have to offer
