I watched this guy's maths course during lockdown and learned a huge amount about maths; more than I did at school. This basic intro to electricity is great. I'm considering going for the same degree. I'm curious if you felt like an electrical engineer when you finished school or if you just felt like you only had a piece of paper stating such. Also, what university did you attend? I ask because I too find it easier to comprehend things through youtube and my own googling much more than I did through MOST of the education I received via an accredited college. I am also considering a degree in the IT field and education is not cheap. I am hoping some feedback will better channel my decision making as I am 25 and need to figure out what career to fulfill asap without feeling like I wasted my money.

Most of the teachers often just try to show their knowledge and make concepts complex. They really don't care about whether the students understand those concepts well. Simply they just showcase what they know. And this's is one of the reasons why students don't relate the concepts they studied with their surrounding environment. But only a few including you have mastered the real way of teaching; starting from basics, making us understand why we're learning this etc. Thank you for making an effort to take lectures amidst your busy work-life :)

I used to be scared of theses things. Physics just never made sense to me years ago . Now I am in anesthesia school I’m forced to revisit it . I used to watch his math videos and they took the fear of math away from me and I was able to pass my tests , now I’m doing the same for physics. This was my first video and I watched the whole thing in one go cause he explained it so well and simply ,the word ohms used to scar me , but now that I understand there is nothing to it really . Great work sir !! ❤

This is false. Current will take any path that is available to it. Which means it can even take the path of leaking out of the wire into the surrounding air, which is seen as sparks when dielectric breakdown of air happens. Idk how no one mentioned about his mistake. But other than that. Its such a great video. My God, you are the best greatest teacher on earth, I don't know if there is or not anyone else that I know that teaches so clearly in detail, you should be an example to the entire world's education systems this is how everything should be taught , instead of long boring lectures, or reading books that are so hard just to understand what they are trying to tell you, because the way books are written is very official language which I abhor, a simple concept that can take one minute to understand takes hours, because the way these evil books are written , the concepts of science, math and everything else are not hard to learn and are actually fun to learn, if it wasn't for these official languages that are used in all books, I am so sick and tired of them. This is how everything should be taught in all schools. Simple, fun and clear. They should learn from you, you are the best and made a big difference in my life, truly American teachers are the best too at teaching. But offcourse your ways of teaching makes it the 👌 best.

It sickens me that in both wealthy and poor nations, quality education is only available to those with money. How many Einstein' or Feynman's have been lost to poverty. It restores my faith in humankind to see great teachers like you share their knowledge with the masses, not for profit, but to inspire and educate. This is what the internet should be used for. I'm so proud of this man he is the epitome of what every teacher should thrive to be he has such a wonderful decorum about his self he's nice and calm and gentle and he has all this knowledge inside his brain it's so it's so admirable to see somebody discipline themselves to learn all this knowledge and share it with others. If he only knew how I wish, as well as others wished, that we had math teachers that would have been like him. I had a math teacher when I was in algebra in the 10th grade , who Just could not explain even a constant from a variable, before watching this video of his I watched a video of people in Kensington PA who are walking the streets as zombies so addicted to drug-abusing themselves, so when afterwards I turned to his videos and see how he dresses nice, he has such a wonderful mind when it comes to mathematics I'm just blown away, I wish so much I would have had him as a math teacher in the 10th grade I think it would have changed the course of my life quite a bit and now I still love math after all these years and I'm over 70 years old I just wish so much I would have had this guy here as my teacher, I was a pre-med student but I waited till I was 26 years old to go back to college and I needed to know math all the way through calculus when I went back to college to be a doctor I did change my course of study and went into vocational training as a welder and I don't regret it because I enjoyed welding offshore for 5 different major oil companies I did like working with my hands and I welded inland also building those great big wind towers and other things and math really helped me out in the building trades, I wish our government would put this man on TV everyday teaching math worldwide television we would have more engineers in the world, I believe we are 29 on the scale of math in the United States to think that 29 other nations have better math students than we do in the USA, we need more people like this man I'm sure many a kid that runs across his videos wish that he was their dad , can you imagine having a dad that you could go to each day after school that would be able to sit down with you and explain all your math problems to you ? Kids that have a dad like him have such an advantage growing up

Hi and Hello. I gather people for a good cause: I wanna provide people with Links leading to bad or toxic people. Mobber, Racists, Sexists, Bullies, more. I got the Links and i need help with reporting them. RU-vid is in a bad state and i think you heard of that. Many complain about it, its strike-system and its CEO: Susan. But... I mean... complaining about the State of the world is nice and dandy, but... how about acting? Doing something? So i made a Wiki where i store Links for all to use. Yeah, unorthodox, i know, but whatever. Its my Try to help. You can at least pre-emptive 'block user' regarding the Racists and all those, but you can also do one thing more and report them. I know this was random and also overly summarized, but think about it and consider. You can make a difference.

This 40min video has given me a real grasp of the basics. I wish they just made us watch videos like this at school, super accessible = super effective. I want to retrain to be an electrician but missed the intake for this years night class at college so instead of doing nothing about it I have decided to just spend 30mins a day watching RU-vid videos so I at least have a solid grasp of the theoretical side of things going on, hopefully this will ultimately reflect on how well I do on the course next year and give me a head start.
