I am so happy that I am not the only one who has had major brain fart.. I'm the Queen of M.B.F.. I had just came across your channel...and though, hmmm...I have never heard of barndominium.. And I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the home y'all had built.. I live in Southern Indiana and I LOVE you huge barndominium! I have 2-grown children, my son has a family of his own, my daughter, not yet...but with your barnominium plan, it would be big enough to bring my chicken and grandchicken back home to roost, of course were they belong, at least I think so..

I was watching a few minutes ago, so I signed up. You were going over the plan dimensions and you showed an over all 50' length, then scrolled down to the indevidual floor lengths and there was a difference of 1and 1/2" on each end. the slab is really 50' 3" but the wall total is 50' that allows an 1 and 1/2" for the sheet metal will come to the end of the slab.

Thanks for the new band name, "The Foots". I don't think that that one is taken? We will always be sure to give you credit for helping to solve that problem that we've been grappling with for awhile now. It's the small things that really make a difference. The great room fan has the 4way and you stated it could be operated from 3 locations. From looking at the dotted line, I'm going to say that the light is switched at 3 locations. But that additional dotted line is fan control at master entrance?. If so you have taught me something about reading the plans.

Appx 3:15 someone asked about cheapest Barndominium. You don't want the cheapest because you can make it so cheap that it won't last. . Better is to learn to do it right while saving money. Some of things you do yourself mean its completed slower, because one person will not be as fast as the builder's crew. Saving time costs money. . Don't skip the engineer for the slab. . Save money using the skills you have. Don't cheap out on quality.

Eric, on the open concept living space where the ceiling is 10’, how do you frame for the span? There aren’t many interior walls. Is there framing dropped down from the ceiling trusses?

So I’m in the same area as this company but I’m looking for an architect and engineer to look over my floor plan to get approval not easy when your basically broke

Contacted pristine plans and was told they can't do plans for the barndominuin l was thinking of what all these videos say to contact them but they won't do the plans.
