I have been to a service centre who has a Bosch common rail test bench and asked them to test my 4 injectors but also another 4 injectors bought from a used parts garage. After they have tested my injectors from my Fiat Panda 169 1.3 MJ 69hp and the other 4 from the garage, they gave me the papers and told me that i should mount the injectors that I have bought from the garage because my injectors were very bad. After the mounting, my car is not working better, in fact it works at least the same as before or worse because it`s more noisy and it sounds like its working on 3.5 cylinders, the fuel consumption its even higher than before when it was high already. This video helped me figure out that even if those "good" 4 injectors from the garage had the working specs between those limits on the papers, 3 of them had either very high or very low working conditions so only one is actualy good...money and time wasted for nothing in the end! Any advice / opinions on solenoid metallic ticking. Gets louder under load. I don’t think it’s valve or rocker. I have my diagnostic reasons. Wondering if it’s common on a 6.7 to have noisy injectors . It’s much quieter when the fuel is below zero C cold. Once fuel warms up it’s louder.
I have a siemens 1.6tdi injector for a seat leon and it failed on the LL (idle test) my car rough idles. The other 3 injectors passed but only one failed the LL test. Would this be the cause of my car idling very rough and grunting really hard and also sometimes starts hard??
Many thanks for the explanation of all the abreviations. I have a question though that concerns the VE preinjection. If your value is below the set value how this can be set right? Is it by adjusting the ECU ? Thanks again ,good work.
