How to read more books - 5 practical reading tips 

Another great video, and great advice. I'm not sure if I can take advantage of it though. My current life schedule doesnt allow me much time to read physical books, so I'm relegated to audiobooks for now. Not only that, but I'm an SFF author myself, one who's done many rounds of self-proofreading, and now finds it hard to read anything without constantly mentally editing it. It's quite distracting, and a habit I'm trying hard to break. I'm also a voice narrator, so every time I read something, I subvocalize worse than most, actually performing it like a script! Also very distracting. While I do miss physical books, listening to an audiobook breaks both of those issues for me and allows me to enjoy the writing for what it is. I have gotten quite adept at cranking the listening speed up though! I guess for now the only piece of advice I could follow would be your final one, of trying to do multiple books at once. I'll admit, at first that sounds like heresy, LOL. But if people can go back and forth from one TV show to another then I don't see why the same can't be done with books. I will try that.
