I have Hall-Leonard play mandolin today book. The music starting on page 50 Angeline Baker. Why and what does the Alphabet letters in a rectangle between measures mean?
Hello! Normally, Alphabet letters in a box are used to mark the different sections like 'A part' or 'B part'. But I'm not sure if that is the case for you because you said they are 'between measures', which is not normally where they are placed. Hey Mike! Yeah it does, otherwise the octave mando would have to read in half treble clef / half bass clef which would just be messy. So it's easier to read normal clef and just be aware that you are technically an octave lower
