How to Recolor Photos in GIMP 2.10

I was surprised to see you never use the "draw unknown" when you're using the foreground select tool. Seems it would have come in handy around 8:26 to just mark the border between her skin and her dress, so that the algorithm could have a shot at refining that.

What kind of things do you have to do for a white or blonde haired person?

question. if your using a drawing with different shades and texture of one color (for example red) and you change it to a different color (lets say green) will this match the shading texture?

is the foreground select tool able to choose an entire picture, but keep all the different shades of colors?

This method is time consuming. Is there a third party plugin for recoloring?

The Foreground Select tool always seems to crash Gimp on my machine (an MS Surface Pro 4). Is that usual? Is it particularly resource hungry compared to the rest of the program, or do I have a bug?

Amazing!!! I have been loving the experience so far working on GIMP 2.10.10, But one question though, does the selection Invert tool have a bug or something? when i select an area & invert to work on the rest of the image, it doesn't work properly. kindly advice

I hope you can leave the GIMP screen on at all time rather than to see you, it'll help to understand better

Starting yesterday, my darktable 2.6.2 exports blank jpeg files. I had not knowlingly made any changes, but would like to know how to remedy the situation. I can still open the darktable edited files in GIMP and export, but that is quite inconvenient. Can you help?
