This video reviews the step-by-step method to reconnect your HP Envy 6400 Series All-in-one Printer to a new Wifi network. Welcome To My Channel - Printer Guruji / printerguruji
You are a life (& printer) saver!!! Your 2 1/2 minute video is worth 100x more than HP pitful excuse for documentation. Many thanks!! Even that is not enough.
Thank you that was so clear and easy. The directions printed from HP stated information button on rear but it’s on the front and the reset/wifi button is so small I didn’t even know it was there.
My 6458e printer will not recognize wifi password and it is correct!!! I've tried EVERYTHING!! I need to reset it. These are not instructions to reset it.
This the fifth video I’ve watched and your the only one who could help me out , thank you so much. Every other video did the set up from opening the box and not showing how to reconnect Wi-Fi backup , so thank youuuu again!
I stand corrected! Pushing the little button finally worked for getting new WiFi password registered to my already setup printer. I've spent HOURS trying to do this! Wish I found your video first! Thank You!!!
Thank you so much! After watching your video for 2 minutes I was able to reconnect to a new wifi after looking around HP support for an hour. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Everything went perfect up to the part after I pressed the button on the printer to finish set up. It says "processing" and it stays there and doesn't seem to get past that. I'm attempting to set up my printer with my new StarLink satellite provider. So I went back and restarted the whole thing. During the phase "processing", I get a screen pop up that says We're sorry, something went wrong, having technical issue with your set-up session, can't finish set-up right now, try again later to resolve this issue. If you continue to have issues contact HP Support. So instead of retrying it again, I tested it to print, and lo and behold, it prints! So I think it connected somewhere and I didn't need the screen to show me it did. Happy camper! Thanks for your invaluable info. I totally forgot about that reset button on the back of the printer.
6458 Warning - Danger - Danger!!!! Worst printer ever don't buy!!! Never EVER works without unpluging and plugging back in - Goes through ink cartridges after about 20 pages Cannot copy multiple pages of anything. Gets paper jams all the time. Plus you have to set up an account to be able to scan or print... So HP Can see what you are copying or printing. I have had cheap printers before but at least they worked for a while.
THANK YOU! On mine the wifi light was blinking after we switched providers. I got the light to go off but the printer still couldn't be found. Unplugging it and plugging it back in was what finally allowed the hp smart app to find my printer.
Thank you! Printer is reconnect again! After a few tries, a sleep, a dustfree environment, an open mindset and a good cup of coffee. Connection was broken for the first time after shot down the internet button (it was so hot…). After to start up, I saw the problem. In the printer shop they told me it’s better to let the printer be stand-by all the time. What’s your opinion? Maybe the blue light disturb my cats to sleep deeply… - Thank you to make this video! 🌷
I am searhing everywhere. I have installed a new WIFI but this is not what`s happening for me. My WIFI light button is still flashing continuously and the printer is beeping when i hold the back button for 3 seconds (When this happens my WIFI light button is flashing faster for maybe 2 seconds). The light from the printer is not purple, it`s light blue? Is there any problem with my printer?
Why didn't I think of that. Oh wait I did. 4 hours later still no complete setup. By far the worst print set up software ever. I did all the steps you outlined except it never completes setup. Beyond frustrating. Along with no support from HP. It's virtually new, was setup for a while. Cannot get it to setup again. Suggestions?
Thank you - I couldn't find how to fix this anywhere else. My instructions were printing in another language and it was all very frustrating. You solved this easier for me than the HP site.
