This was a very good explanation, I've been needing to get a hardirive anyway and i wanted to buy a Series S again. Once I got my Ps5, I sold my Xbox... I miss the games and some of my friends so I've been thinking of getting it

I do have a Q. Why does my setup only allow 30 sec. recording time in 4K when 1080pSDR is 1hr.

How do you record the screen for a photo / video that you are not playing? It doesn't let me unless I go into a game and then when I'm in the game and try to take a screenshot (the TWITCH connection guide) for example it doesn't let me because it takes a picture of the game itself and not the settings like you did at the beginning of the video (want to take a screenshot of the screen the main example and something I change in the settings)

This works to record the game footage. To record your screen you will need a capture card. Or an easier solution use a smartphone camera to record your TV. 😉

So if the card is like 128gb or 64gb is it possible to delete the clips once I’ve uploaded it to RU-vid to free up space in the drive also if I have a mice will I be able to hear myself and if so how do I?

Yes you can connect the hard drive/flash drive to a PC and transfer or delete the files you don't need. About include your voice on the recording you can only do that if you connect an external capture card and send the signal to a PC and connect the mic to your PC as well. And use a program like OBS to record that. This is the way i record mine, so i will try to make that video as soon as possible to show it. Otherwise you could do after voice overs but again you need to transfer the clip to PC and use an editing software to connect the voice over with your gameplay. + or on your smartphone... I will try to explain different ways on next videos.. Good questions though 👍🙂

Oh so dose the video capture card, Papeaso 4K HDMI to USB capture card do the same as what you did then I transfer the footage to a pc or laptop after?

@@fakezigter5673 Yes i haven't test this one, but make your research first before buying it. With capture card you pass through the screen of your console to your PC/laptop live. So you need to have a free program like OBS to record that signal and also your mic at the same time. You could even connect a web camera to record your face on OBS.

You welcome 🙏 Yes if it's 3.0 it's good no matter the size. Just have in mind to transfer or delete those files to always have enough storage for recording.

Anyone without a PC to format the drive can use a 3.0 Micro SD card & USB adaptor to format the drive on a smartphone. Inserting the SD in phone will permit uploading of game recordings to RU-vid, social media, email etc
