Hi Max, thank you for your video. Please consider doing a tutorial for exporting multiple recorded channels . Troubleshooting volume/ distortion issues once I've exported. Thanks.
Thanks! The image in the user’s manual didn’t clearly show where the USB-AUDIO button is. Was able to make a straightforward WAV recording with this help.
Hi, Can you please make a video showing how to build a loop, with drums from different styles, your own bass and own piano in it ? Thank you ( and good luck, the 670 seems a nightmare to me, not intuitive at all ) Thank you Max :)
Anyone watching this video and wondering what USB to use. Yamaha has a page online for it. Just look up dgx 670 usbs and you'll find a page of is a that work with the keyboard
Hi~Hello there. Wish you can help me on how to connect my external soundcard for live streaming to my Yamaha DGX670 that i recently purchased. Thanks a lot in advance. 🤗
Nice demo. Just one question. After saving the recording to the usb stick..can I save/transfer the recording to somewhere on the piano and pull it up at later time?
Hi Stu! Yes, you can. To do this you need to record in a slightly different way - by pressing 'New Song' under the 'SONG' category on the top left hand side of the buttons. Then press record, then once you are finished playing press the play/ pause button, then press 'Select' at the top left hand side, then use the TAB arrow to scroll across either too the USB category or the USER category, from there press save and rename the audio file, then you are done. and this works both ways too, which is very handy! - Max, ePianos
@@ePianoscouk Hello Max. I want to thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my question and explaining in detail how to record a song onto the DGX670. This was extremely helpful and will make using this keyboard even more enjoyable. I look forward to seeing you on future videos!
Hi there! I wonder if it's possible to save allready recorded songs as .wav/.mp3 files. With the purpose to export them like that on a USB drive. As far as I experienced, that's only possible as .midi files, but I want my recordings/songs as .wav/.mp3 files... Help please! Thanks in advance!!
After recording my piano track, how do I play it back while recording myself singing through my microphone (plugged into they keyboard) with that piano track? I have been pretty annoyed at how confusing and non-obvious some things are, even after consulting the manual. Yaamaha needs to step back and redesign for simplicity for the nextgen DGX. I greatly appreciate any help. Recording my piano song and then singing during instrumental playback is my primary use of my DGX670.
@@wnhlwntk Thanks Mary. Do you have a link you could share? I have not successfully found any instructions on this after a lot of searching . I've seen people record and sing, but nothing instructional. A link would be much appreciated!
@@wnhlwntk Thanks @ Mary Latona. That video is just the guy going through the features of the DGX670. He is playing, and he's talking through a mic. I know how to record my piano playing. And I have a mic plugged into the piano. The thing I can't seem to figure out is (1) Record myself playing the song on the piano and then (2) Play that back while I record myself singing the song so that (3) I have a single file in the end that has both the piano and the vocals. I do appreciate the help.
This demo was very helpful, but please please take it one step further....is it possible on the dgx670 to transfer the recording on the usb to the piano itself? Cannot find this info anywhere. Would greatly appreciate your help.
The simplest way to record this is record directly into your DAW. USB to Audio sends audio both ways. Just make sure you download the ASIO driver. The only reason to use the USB stick is when you don’t have a computer available. Transferring wave files from the USB stick seems like unnecessary step.
Hi, on the dgx 670 manual it says that one of the things you can record on the USB stick is USB audio on the USB stick, which would be a very cool way of layering recordings, but I can't seem to find a way to do this, it won't let me play an audio file while recording and won't let me record while playing an audio file. Could you help me out figuring if the manual is wrong or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
I want to record a piano piece, and as it plays, I'd play a flute piece over it. It was easy with my DGX650, but this 670 is different. Do I have the prerecorded song play from the USB, and play the flute then? This is for a church setting.
Can the dgx670 record audio from user songs directly to usb stick? That is, can you play back a song that you've made using the sequencer, and record that audio directly to usb stick? Can't do it on the ew425.
I have the same question a gal asked earlier: "what do you recommend for the USB? Brand and version ? 2.0 or 3.2. Gen 1 -- or Type A. ?"...... I bought two SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB 2.0 ... 128gb.... will these work? I live in the USA in the state of California... near Hollywood.
Hi Jim. Yamaha have their own list of compatible USBs here: usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/7/1347827/DP_en_20CLP.pdf - In our experience, it's quite difficult to purchase a USB that won't work with any Yamaha piano or keyboard today!
I have a question please answer I bought this masterpiece piano but the style starts from track 9 until 16 how can make all the 16 track are manual to record whatever I want
DO you have a recommendation for the USB? Brand and version ? 2.0 or 3.2. Gen 1 -- or Type A. I'm guessing multiple 16 GB would be better than a 32 GB. I'm not sure how you scroll on a DGX-670
Hi Carolyn. The Playlist titles on Yamaha DGX-670 don't actually play the song for you, they simply arrange the keyboard's settings with the correct tempo, style, voices, etc, so that you can perform the song yourself. I hope that helps!
Do you know the reason the chorus and reverb is showing as not available in the display and following page 6 of the manual nothing changes for the Yamaha dgx 670 please?
