Helped a ton. Thanks. Wondering if you can do a video on what doin a bus track does. Not understanding that part or what you mean by "the main vocal goes through the bus track to the master volume." Or if you can direct me somewhere to better understand that part. Everything else was easy to grasp thanks to your clear explanations
Deff was helpful. I’m new to Luna to I used logic most of my recording time. My only question is could you give more detail on how you set your Apollo preamp and where in Luna you do that. I mean I use the main setting space but not sure if you work it different. Dope vid bro was a more in dept way to show how to mix and record. Thanks.
Hey super cool video. I just bought an Apollo X4 and downloaded Luna - I find your video amazingly good explained. I am an opera singer and use instrumental tracks or a piano. Would love to see more videos from you using Luna on vocal recording tips. Also an explanation using the auto tune on classical vocals. And how you continue after did what you did in this video. How to finish the recording using busses, routing up to the plug ins on the master or busses so it’s ready to be uploaded on SoundCloud. Am I asking too much lol :-) hope not
I love your videos man I just bought luna and the Apollo Twin X but I was having trouble setting up my vocals, and thanks to your video I just learn how keep up the good work and post more video Key Wav
The tape and analog sound from luna finally got my sound where i want it, id really suggest trying it out if you got apollo and know how to use the stock plug ins for real for real
Good video! Just installed Luna today and I'm trying to get to grips with it. I'm having problems hearing my headphone mix. I'm getting a signal from my mic and can record onto an audio track fine. I just can't work out how to listen to my headphone mix. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
When you were recording, the effects on the bus track were not playing in this video, only the auto-tune since it was an insert. Not sure if you were able to hear it when you were tracking. If so, that's dope, but it just isn't coming through on the video.
tonygunz21 No it’s only recording the inserts on the “main vocal” recording track, not the bus. The reason why I said it will still record with zero latency is because even though it’s not processing the bus effects live, the RAM and processing speed would hinder the latency speed recording in any other DAW. I was just surprised I can record, and not have to turn off all the plugins in order to hear the vocal recording on time with the beat. Does that make sense? Anyway, thanks for watching bro!
How are you liking your computer is it working well no glitches for music production.... I’m planning on getting one next week the same one you have and using my pro tools...any idea if it works well with pro tools Key?
Thank you for the idea from luna, but when i use the buses i cant recording and hear (monitoring) my voice with the effect. Did you know how to do this ?
Hi Key, great video about luna bro yeahh, please can you tell me about that isometric effect look you did in your video, did you use an plugin to do this?, final cut or Premiere? awsome video receive my hug from brazil bro 🇧🇷 subscribed and thumbs up!!!!
This is where this daw becomes awesome, compared to other daws, adding fx and zero latency sure. But the funny thing is, right before you said that, you mentioned the neve console emulation. You didn't really know what that is, so you didn't pick it. THAT is what makes the daw amazing. It has console emulation for summing. Turn that shit on. Always use neve summing 😂 that's the main reason to switch to this daw haha
I can record on luna but can’t hear my voice when i try to playback or listen to my recording i can hear the instruments through luna to my apollo twin x but can hear my own voice someone help??
Also their little being able to record in their zero latency thing is bunk. You can't monitor the effects while recording. And there's no way to do that. In other daws you can. Which is stupid. The only way to do it is through consoles record effects, but then it's committed. But it's version 1, so we'll see what happens in future versions
