You just earned a subscribe to day. Now, help me here. When I am recording in Studio One 6, the vocal waveform is too THIN as if it is just a line and I can't hear what I recorded until I drag it up to Zoom. Please help me!!!!
Be sure the gain knob on your interface is adjusted properly before recording. Also, I am not sure what gear you are using, but depending on the microphone, it may require more or less gain, or in some instances, a cloud lifter of some kind. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching and subscribing!
This TOPIC has been done for 15+ yrs. Too much repeating yourself. No PRESET is going to be right for any Vocalist (each needs tweaking per VOX)... I can go on but no time for it! One thing i will agree is pull the TOTAL MIX down to taste while Tracking Vocals ( a lot more focus on His or Her Vocals going in!)
Thank you for watching! Yea everyone will have a different way I was just trying to show beginners were to start if they just want to get their ideas on studio one basically. More advance videos will be done later. Just slowly rolling out beginner tips and tricks!
