*This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, **batery.repair** and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!*
I have one of those desulfators. To get best results from them you have to connect to a power source like a trickle charger. Connect a 2 amp trickle charger to battery then connect the desulfator to battery . I have revived lots of batteries using this method. They need the extra power to work.
measuring voltage right after the charge will not tell you anything you need to take off the charger and keep it for a day then measure votlage also voltage gives you the amount of charge but not the capacity which needs a good load test
There are no controls on this to show if this prolongs battery life. The desulfator pulse might be killing the batteries. Fine to try on batteries you don't care about but there is NOT enough information provided here to do this with a customer's battery. Sure, you may get a higher charge on it this once but my question would be is it safe enough to use on a battery that has set on a shelf for four months and has increased by 10 or 12 millohms of internal resistance from factory spec, something I see all the time on new UPS batteries. If this is a desperate jump start for old batteries to get a few more months out of them, a lot of economics rules against this process, as I see it.
Hi, i have some question as below: 1- How many time i would need for desultory ? is it nominal time or open until pulsing flashing? 2- If pulsing's flashing take long time between two pulsing (for example 10 seconds), what that is mean??
