Works for interlocked transformers as well. I use an old axe and a hammer

I just continue doing it my way I cut one ring of copper off with my chop saw then I only have to pull the copper out once you have to pull the copper from both sides

Hydraulic press with the chisel works faster I've found. Plus it doesn't move around or damage floor then...🤗

To me, this isn't worth my time. If i had some spare time, sure, but usually i just take em's as a whole. It's a good idea, and I'll use it should I decide to do it.

Totally agree with you 😉. It depends on how every e waste dealer processes his e waste and with what quantity he deals with. Our most 'precious asset' is time, so if you deal with a big quantity of e waste some things sure will not be worth your time.👍

@ElectronicWasteExplorer that is absolutely true. I deal a lot with ems, and it would take so long to break them apart, and i need the space in my trailer for other things usually. It's a fantastic idea, though. I will be using your method next time i break one down. Thank you for the idea.
