You have to purchase the software for recovery. Don't use it. Instead go to the command prompt and enter chkdsk /f x: and press enter. x stands for your corrupt disk name. Your all data will be recovered. I have tried and all my data is completely recovered. Thank you.

My seagate 1TB external Hard drive is working with the indicator light. While connecting to Laptp it seems through the disc rotating sound ,but it is not showing its presence in PC.How to recover the data ?

Hi, please help, when I scan my 2nd HDD here inside my laptop with easeus it appears but as "LOST PARTITION" in color yellow. And when I start to scan it just scans and scans saying "0 files found" and "trying to jump bad sectors". I left it like that for around 6 hours and it is still saying that. The problem with easeus is that rcovered files are unreadable the metadata is gone if it's a large 1 TB or more it's near impossible to sort them all out.
Dear Techno Math, I followed your step and when i select my External Hard Disc(Local Disc F:) (in your video 3:16). When i clicked "Scan" The (F:) doesnt show any files (its totally empty),nothing for me to recover, or i cant even click on the "recover" button. I didnt format my RAW HDD. What should i do ? +Zoti Zoti OK. No worries. You need to use the software shown in the video and you can recover all of the data from E Drive. Please note that the free version can recover up to 2 GB of data. If you want to recover all of the data, buy a licensed version. However you can check if the you are able to recover the data if that's not more than 2 GB. Let me know if you need more help on this. @techno Math "The type of file system is NTFS. Volume labe is Maxtor external hdd. Corrupt master file table. Windows will attempt to recover master file table from disk. THEN AT LAST "Windows cannot recover master file table. CHKDSK aborted" please help

it scans fine but my 500gb hard disk is taking more than 24hours and still it isnt completed.. my harddisk contains more than 60k files. the scan shows only 30k found till now.. this is frustrating. i just need to recover videos. can i recover specifically ?
There is an option "Trim On" is Ease US if it is on the recovered files can't be viewable hence make sure before starting recovering "Trim" is OFF....This trick I have found after struggling a lot.
Most of the data recovered by these software are sometimes still not of use because the files which gets recovered dont work the way they use to work earlier.....so in that case what is the proper solution for these situation
Do you have any advice to recover data lost from a CHKDSK scan? Two days ago I allowed my computer to do a scan and it deleted hundreds of GB of important files. I've tried EaseUs and Recuva and both of them found none of the deleted files.
Have you got anything back? Chkdsk completely obliterated a SD card and mucked up another one so i never use it for those now, but trying it for a raw external hard drive just brings up: "the type of the file system is NTSF Unable to determine volume version & state. chkdsk aborted" so chkdsk is not the be all and end all of solutions that some people thing it is.

aritra chakraborty Did you try to recover the data from this HDD using the method shown in the video? If yes and still you are not able to resolve your issue then there are two possibility. 1) Either the HDD is corrupted or 2) The connection is loose in the HDD External CASE Cover. I don't think the HDD is corrupted as you said that it shows un-allocated space under Disk Management. So try to recover the data from this RAW HDD and then format it with NTFS file System. If the issue is with External Case Cover, then you can try replacing it. Again you will have to buy the external case for your HDD depending on size (2'5 or 3'5) of the HDD. I would suggest to recover the data and format it first. Let me know if that helps. :)

My problem is that when I plug in my hard drive, I can access a few folders, but then when I try to open a file or subfolder it gives me this message X:/folder is not accessible. The device is not ready. I can still see the storage space of my hard drive and when I try to do chkdsk, it says that my hard drive is a RAW drive even though in the description, it says NTFS. I tried to use this software you recommended and it will take 2 hours and 30 minutes to scan. It's been awhile now and it still hasn't found any files. Is that normal? Please, I really need your help to fix this.

Hi, i managed to recover all 2400 files (18gb) data with this. But none on the image or video opens. Not even 1 of them is opening. Any suggestions how to sort that out?
mine says "trial version allow you to preview data, to recover data please purchase full version" ....who's gonna just preview their data without recovering them. so basically you have to pay :(
Kim Berly That's the business strategy. One would see all his important data as preview and then sudden ask him to buy the full version to recover that data.
EaseUS found a lot of my lost files but then I realized that they only do 2 GB for free. I've got a 250 GB damaged portable drive. Then they want $80 to get the data back. Hello, I have a serious problem.. My second 2TB hdd become invisible (raw) and I formatted it.. Can I recover my lost files? I tryed EaseUS, Recuva, TestDisk. I recovered some files (188gb) but they with different names and types like: .swf (92 files, each size from 3mb to 4gb). I never see that format or used it before and I can't open them or extract (I'm tryed SWF Extractor, Adobe flash player, Web browser). I lost my all personal and work data, please help..

Christopher Burnette Yes you have the choice to select the data that you want to recover. So once the scan is complete it shows the recoverable data. Select the data as per your convenience one by one. So it will definitely work. Thanks :)

Thanks for this great video. I have an external RAID1 enclosure using 2 drives, not even 1 year old. The "corrupted and unreadable" message appeared this morning. In disk management, the disk appears as "RAW". Will this software still help? Really appreciate your advice, many thanks
