How to recycle tin cans into soy wax candles, best of waste

This week I have another DIY my rubbish video and I am sharing how to recycle tin cans into soy wax candles, showing you how you can make the best of waste.
I used a soy wax instead of paraffin and I much prefer the soy base. I picked up my wax from Amazon. You can find it here:

Wow Ms Catherine, I have been watching you for several hours this morning. I had to put my I-pad in the shop for a screen replacement and I just got it back yesterday. Thank you for filling my morning with so much fun. I really liked this video because I love soy candles. The wooden wick is so much better to burn than the string wick. I'll use soy wax next time because I'm asthmatic and the paraffin wax would knock you out. I had never heard of wood wicks but I like the idea so will give those a try too. Thanks a million for all the brilliant ideas and for showing that you don't need a fortune of money to try things. I'm having a ball with you on your channel...not bad for an old retired infant teacher...better late than never! More power to you Catherine keep doing what you're doing cause your videos are great for all ages.

After watching your video I now have confidence to make some candles. I won't waste my time on paraffin and just use soy wax. I have plenty of bean cans 😁 My husband is a Vegan and loves his beans.

Just found you today. What a nice video, and how you recycle items to make new ones. I have made candles as well and really like the soy wax. And think it is great to remove any negative comments. I am Irish as well, well I’m American, but have an Irish side from my father, who’s Uncles we’re from Ireland , and had a store there years ago called the Collery’s. Hope to visit Ireland some day. I can just smell those candles beautiful scents filling the air. Soy wax is the only way to go. I've made them in small jars with scents of Rose, lavender, lemon, peppermint just to name a few. Rose is my favorite. Love love how you dressed them up with flowery prints and bows just ADORABLE. Fun video HUGS😘🐱🐾🌻🌷

Love your candles!! I've been making wood wick/soy candles for some time now. I read a great tip that if you soak your wood wicks in an oil like olive oil for a bit that they burn slower and more consistent. Love you videos... I'm going to start saving my bean cans! ❤

Hi Catherine beautiful fabric. We do a lot of crafting where we leave the rough frayed edges on projects. It might look really cute to leave the edges at the top and bottom frayed and the seam area. Great idea
