The grounding system or better known as grounding is a very important component in electrical installations, because grounding functions as protection when leakage current occurs in equipment, so that humans who touch the equipment will be safe from electric shock.
In accordance with the requirements of PUIL (General Electrical Installation Regulations), the grounding resistance value must be less than or equal to 5 Ohms and anything above this value cannot be tolerated.
In reality, the installed grounding resistance value does not match what is required by PUIL (above 5 Ohms), therefore efforts need to be made to reduce the grounding resistance value.
