Thanks, very interesting! For viewers who want to repeat these steps I'd like to point out though that I wouldn't use a "normal" vacuum cleaner for this (it might blow the fine toner dust all around your apartment). I would either use a special toner vacuum cleaner - if you own one - or go outside, put the toner cartridge in a plastic bag and shake the old toner out of the cart and into the bag.

The toner is not supposed to be processed with normal vacuum cleaner.

What brand is the power? Universal powder is suitable?

Using an universal toner powder is not the best solution. If you use the universal powder, it may cause printing problems/defective printouts. I recommend using dedicated powder. Using an universal powder is at your own risk ;)

what was the purpose of the second step where you unscrewed the black casing ? I'm not sure if I saw what you did correctly but you seemed to turn the starting position of the small white plastic wheel back 15 degrees. Is it like a resetting that needs to be done every time one refills ? Thanks in advance.

The purpose of the second step where I unscrew the black side cap is to turn the reset gear (the white plastic wheel) in starting position (2-3 cogs of it to be in contact with the nearest gear). And yes, the resetting must be done every time you refill the cartridge. Good luck! :)

@@TonerRefillVideos Got it - can I get your advice then on some powder toner which is available here in Budapest. The link below of some of this powder for sale at a nearby shop says that this black toner is good for Samsung and Lexmark. Can I use this for my brother HL1112E ? www.patronbolt.hu/tonerpor-100g-black-fekete-samsung-lexmark-epson-p8988.html Secondly, after emptying the cartridge to begin with, with a vacuum nosel, not being able to see inside where the powder goes and not being able to therefore know when its full, how many table spoons should I drop in of the new powder approximately ? Thanks again.
