If your cartridge is not an original CANON, it may look slightly different. If you bought a toner refill kit from us, please contact us directly for tech support at info@inkowl.com
step 1. make a hole. step 2 empty out what's in there. step 3. fill it. step 4. seal it. step 5 make another hole. step 6 empty what's in there. step 7. seal it again. is this correct?? I'm asking because I didn't see your 1st hole when you mentioned it.
CANON color laser cartridges can typically be refilled 3-5 times while maintaining an acceptable print quality. However, it's not the act of refilling itself that degrades the cartridge, but rather the printing thousands and thousands of pages. If the print quality was still satisfactory before the cartridge went empty, you can refill it another time!
one time the chip is used, i can print anyway with the same chip after refill or this printer dont allow to print with the same ? i reffer to 054h or 054 sorry
Technically there are ways to get the cartridge open without making a hole, but it requires complete disassembly and is generally reserved for refill shops and professional remanufacturers of cartridges. You can look for "remanufacturing" instructions. As our products are targeted towards users and not professional refill shops, the methods we recommend are always a compromise between quality and ease of use. In our opinion, any marginal gain in quality from fully disassembling and cleaning out the cartridge simply does not justify the vastly more complex procedure and increased risk of error.
The second hole is for the "excess toner" or "waste toner" compartment. This compartment gradually fills up with use, and eventually it will fill up completely and the cartridge will stop working. So, to avoid this, we do recommend emptying this compartment out with every refill.
@@angelawilson8062 You should never reuse waste toner. It's contaminated with dust and debris which you DON'T want to bring inside the toner feed mechanism.
No, there's no need to cover it or do anything, in fact, simply continue printing. The toner level won't be displayed, but the printer will print normally.
