HP did something to their printers. If you insert a non-HP toner cartridge, (generic) into the printer, the downloaded driver, that reads the chip and tells you how much toner remains before it goes empty, gives an incorrect electronic message, to the installed printer driver and the printer goes into self destruct. I saw another video on this problem. It said, you can refill the toner, but you must keep the old chip, that came installed with the cartridge. It won't tell you how much toner remains in the cartridge, but the printer driver won't go haywire, and try to break the printer. I installed generic toner cartridges and the machine made a horrible bunch of noises. I hope that it isn't broken. Where did you buy that up toner cartridge chip?
Now your printer will print in a funny way, and you will need to buy a new cassette to fix it. Is it cheap? Actually it's more expensive. Mistakes were done here the green/blue tube was exposed to light. The blades might get damaged. You might actually get hurt... My solution: Find toner filler exit and entrance, remove first all old toner from exit, and fill in trough entrance. No disassembly is needed. You will need to buy chips from ali. At least 5 of them as printer stores at least 5 last used chips. Don't throw away old chips as you might use them again.
