Hey.. i did as the video but now i have black stripes all over my printing... at first i tough i put too much ink so i removed some... actually i took almost all the ink to be sure it was not caused by excessive ink and the results were the same =/ any hotfix or motive why its going like this?
Er, it's normally something I would try and avoid. Lots of mechanical things going around and around in toner cartridges. I wouldn't want a chip to get jammed in anything
For the 401a series, we got toner here www.urefilltoner.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?manufacturer=Hewlett+Packard&productCode=HPM401BOT&price=8.50&description=Toner+refill+bottle+100g%2c+2.5K+yield&engine=HPM401&printer=LaserJet+M401a%2c+M401d%2c+M401dn%2c+M401dne%2c+M401dw%2c+M401n&id=2885&weight=140 No technical support just yet
See here www.urefilltoner.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?manufacturer=Hewlett+Packard&productCode=HPM102BOT&price=9.50&description=Toner+refill+bottle+40g+(1.6K+yield)+and+spout&engine=HPM102&printer=LaserJet+M102%2c+M102a%2c+M102w&id=2936&weight=66
Slightly confused as every other refill guide for this model involves lengthy disassembly to refill an internal tube that appears to hold the toner... but anyway I'll probably give it a shot. Presumably it works the same on starter cartridges? I cant recall whether they are physically different or just only partially full.
Andrew If you're just looking to refill your own cartridge, not need to disassemble anything. Just do the hole we did in the video (we've done 5 refills like that). You can refill the starter cartridges, no problem
Technically speaking, it's toner. I can assure you this will work ... www.urefilltoner.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?manufacturer=Hewlett%20Packard&productCode=HPM102BOT&price=14.00&description=Toner+refill+bottle+40g+(1.6K+yield)+and+spout&engine=HPM102&printer=LaserJet+M102%2c+M102a%2c+M102w&id=2936&weight=66

I did it and it worked (incredibly). The toner level is still reading empty so am slightly concerned the chip will be a dick and say I've run out at some point. Will update.
