U Refill Toner doing what most "toner refill" videos don't. Showing you how we did the refill: not how we imagine it could be done. Includes a continuous shoot from the right time to refill to seeing the printer print again.

Applicable directly to the Oki C301dn, C321dn, MC332dn, MC342dn and MC342dnw.
Almost exactly the same technique can be used for the C310dn, C330dn, C331dn, C510dn, C511, C530dn, C531, MC351dn, MC361dn and MC561dn (although some caveats apply to higher end models - please check detailed product information in our web shop).

you can disable the toner sensors, so you can refill starter cartridges.

Just a question about the toner refill bottle. You wrote here this is the best (if we want to same money) what we can do if the toner is empty. What I will get (in the toner bottle) ... that is very good quality? I'm sorry for this question but I don't like to ruin my favorite printer :) you know it I think.

I ordered genuine cartidges already, only the magenta is starter still. Just now arrived the balck cartidge. So that is full. Magenta is empty :S so I will looking for one of this soon. But next time when I need toner then I will looking from you if the toner is high quality in your bottles.

+Istvan Luspai Indeed. That's why I took the trouble to buy the printer and test it over thousands and thousands of refills. Then afterwards, use the refills as my company's main way of printing for the next 9 months

Very informative video. Seems a few people didn't bother to watch it fully. Your webshop is ok, could have a bit more information on what you're actually buying. I feel a bit confused by the formatting on your site.

MrLiolikas199. That's a "starter cartridge" that arrives with the new printer. As we state at 7m 30 seconds, starter cartridges are different and cannot be refilled.

not entirly true: chineese web sites actully sell chip holder end cap for starter toner. if you look for them... you will find them. its a small plastic convertor. very cheap one too. once applied , you slide there a chip and you are good to print (or refill) . BTW: why do you drill a hole ? in most videos I saw they simply slide back the blue hatch and refill from there.

Why do you drill a hole? All videos I've seen show the refill through the existing hole which becomes accessible by sliding the blue "lock" to the open position.

I the absence of a chip, it seems to just be mechanical, isn't there some mechanical way of saying it's still full, rather than using a new chip? Or does the printer itself just permit x amount of unchipped cart use.

Bryan Once you've had the REPLACE TONER TONER EMPTY message for a particular cartridge, it will not process a print job until it gets a cartridge with a new chip in it. The presence - or absence - of toner in the cartridge makes no difference.

I know that it's not the quantity of toner in the starter cartridge. But the question is: What is keeping track of the usage? It's not the chip, so either the printer is holding its own one time countdown, or there is some mechanical counter in play. Secondary question which might help to answer. What if you replace a depleted starter cart with a new starter cart? Presumably the printer would not 'see' the swap and would assume it's still depleted? I'm generally wondering why we can't stop the countdown on starter carts, possibly mechanically.

+U Refill Toner Is the projection on the starter cartridges too long to add a 3d printed chip holder? I'm considering getting a duplex network colour laser. As this model seems to have been superseded, what model would you recommend for ease of refilling now?
